Maria, the host, was fantastic! She took the time to make sure we knew how everything worked, highlighted many area attractions, and even helped us get taxis back to the train station after our stay. The apartment was clean, in good condition, and in a great, central location. We would definitely stay here again!

We had the most wonderful time here. Upon arrival, we were met by the lovely host. She was welcoming, very knowledgeable about the area, and even gave us a list of great restaurants and "must-sees". The apartment was spotless with everything you can think of to make your stay super comfortable. The location was amazing! You stepped out onto a pedestrian street and were just steps away from the Cathedral and delicious restaurants. We will be returning:)

We had an amazing stay in Valencia. The host provided a wonderful place for us that felt like home. In addition, the host went above and beyond to help us plan our outings so we would see the most of Valencia as possible. She even was able to make us a reservation at an amazing restaurant for our last evening to celebrate the wonderful trip. The location is amazing - in the center of the old city! We felt extremely safe walking around the neighborhood. We are looking forward to returning and will definitely stay in the same rental! I would give more than 5 stars if possible. It is our new favorite city with such wonderful people!

Valencia is a wonderful destination for a family, you cannot get bored! the appartment is wonderful, situated basically on the central Plaza de la Reina from where you can reach anything on foot. Clean, spacious, great beds, full of light, we loved to come back and do a siesta in this great appartment. Maria is an excellent host and took great care of us! Highly recommended!

Would give 10 stars if possible. Beautiful, comfortable, spacious light and airy. Perfect location to see the sights, great eateries & easy walking/shopping. Maria took care of us from the moment we arrived: showed us the neighborhood, recommended gourmet restaurants & all of the best places to visit during our stay - including ones too new to be in the guidebooks. Very welcoming to our granddaughter as well as to our friends who came to visit us. A truly wonderful experience ! Wished that we could have stayed even longer than our one month with her.

Our time in Valencia was incredibly memorable, all thanks to our wonderful host Maria. She was responsive, helpful, and went above and beyond to provide ideas, restaurants, cafes, sites, etc in order to ensure that we made the most out of our trip. The spacious, white marbled flat with its contemporary design and accents to all things Valencia (the bedding had traditional colors of Valencia) was warm, inviting and exuded sophistication. The rich history of the building and the presence and blessings of the nuns in the building created a peaceful and beautiful space to rest every night. A friend and I had traveled to Valencia to celebrate a milestone anniversary of my study abroad program (UVA in Valencia) and I cannot even begin to tell you how magical and memorable our lovely host Maria made the entire experience. Before we arrived she shared helpful information about our stay, when we arrived she met us personally and made us feel as though her home was our home. She mapped out the major sites of the city ( and even took the time to walk us to the Plaza redonda and the Mercat Central). She also introduced us to Horno y Pasteleria Alfonso Martinez and treated us to some almond biscotti ( you have to go). She made suggestions about nightly walks. I have never experienced the level of hospitality, kindness and generosity that we experienced with Maria. She is one of a kind and I am pretty certain she is an angel. We loved our time there and I am so looking forward to returning and bringing my children. Unparalleled space coupled with unparalleled hospitality made my visit to Valencia exceptional in every way! I am blessed to have met Maria and I thank her for sharing her beautiful home with others!

Maria was highly communicative before and during our stay, providing ample recommendations answering any questions we had. The location of the property can’t be beat, very centralized to the old city center, main attractions, the central market and plenty of bars and restaurants. This beautiful apartment is spacious and modern on the inside but has the Spanish charm architecturally on the outside. The location can not be beat. You are literally in the heart of Valencia. We loved waking up every morning and having cappuccinos at the cafe right down stairs and then exploring the historic streets and alley ways as we shopped and ate tapas. Maria, our host, was wonderful. She made us feel welcome and is an excellent resource regarding what to do and where to eat. We loved Valencia and we loved our stay in Maria’s lovely apartment. We stayed here for 5 nights on our first trip to Valencia. The apartment is on a high floor in a quiet building, just around the corner from one of the main squares in central Old Town. Maria is a lovely host, always responsive, accommodating and full of resourceful information on Valencia. The apartment is well lit, contemporary and spacious for the four of us.

The apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated. The pictures don’t completely convey how beautiful this property is. Everything of interest in Valencia is within easy walking distance. Maria, our host, is a wonderful human being. She knows every inch of her beloved city, and shares her love and knowledge generously. The whole stay was a dream.

Everything about this place was PERFECT! Starting with the host, Maria, whom was fantastic with communicating with us before the stay. Then once we got three she personally met is there and have us a tour of the place, a map, and history and recommendations of her wonderful home! The location was dead center in the heart of everything.... We could not have picked better and were extremely lucky to find it and Maria. We will definitely be back, can't wait.

Gorgeous apartment with an amazing host!! Maria made us feel welcome from the time we booked our reservation. She was in constant communication with us and responded to any questions very quickly. The apartment is in a great location next to the Plaza and was absolutely gorgeous. It was so clean and very well maintained. Maria was always so helpful providing lists of restaurants, attractions to visit and arranging taxis when needed. She is A+ and would highly recommend to others!!

It is 3 to 10 minutes walk from about 20 great restaurants. It is seconds from La Plaza Reina and La Plaza de la Virgen and all the good and cool that comes with that. Maria is the greatest hostess in all the land. We will return ASAP!

Don’t hesitate, book now. The location, apartment and host cannot be beat! The apartment looks like the pictures. It’s located in the heart of Valencia. Best possible location. It has a clean, warm welcoming energy. You feel at home within minutes. Host Maria is fantastic! She goes over and above expectations. She ensured we were all taken care of, provided a daily itinerary for our vacation and arranged for our transportation. The airline lost our luggage, Maria took the initiative to call the airline and advocate on our behalf. She even went as far as driving us to the airport with her husband to pick up our luggage. Host Maria’s love and enthusiasm for Valencia is infectious. You will fall in love with Valencia because of Maria. Maria is readily available for any questions or concerns.

What a wonderful experience! Maria was a GEM! She took the time to map out a four day itinerary for us. Everything Maria suggested was spot on. She arrived at the apartment today at 5:30 am in order to be certain we got the cab to the train station. Thank you Maria for all your help but also for sharing your lovely apartment with us.

Prior to arrival, Maria was extremely responsive to our questions and was flexible with our check-in experience. She sent us all of the pertinent information to gain access to the apartment, where to meet her, and how to contact her in case of any delay. When Maria opened the door, the beauty of the city of Valencia appeared inside and outside of our lodging. Everything exceeds expectations: the cleanliness of the apartment; the amenities; the view of the Valencia neighborhood; absolutely perfect location ..... Maria spent extra time with us to help us navigate the city, asking us questions on what we like to do (culture and walking tours and food, in our case), then giving us three days of suggestions (with additional back up ideas!!!), along with a map to help. A perfect rental experience.

The apartment was clean, modern, spacious and well equipped. The bedding and towels were of good quality. Its central location downtown in the old city could not have been better. One can walk to everything. Maria was lovely and spent about 1 1/2 hours with us. Her recommendations for sights to see, festivals and other special events occurring during our stay, and restaurants was both very helpful and all very good. Overall we had a great experience!

Maria suggested we stay a few extra days for a magical festival in Valencia and she was so right. This is a fabulous city and in the shoulder season is not too overrun with tourists. The location of this apartment is perfect. Maria made sure we had our bearings, went through "must see" locations, suggested restaurants for a variety of eating experiences and was at the ready any time there was even a minor issue with our apartment. She even had the cable company come to replace a calcitrant router so one of our party could carry on his business while on vacation. The lounge is huge and comfortable. The location really a plus.

I cannot say enough great things about Maria’s apartment. We truly wanted to stay forever. It is huge and stocked with everything you can need. Maria the host is wonderful and went out of her way to make us comfortable. We will send all our friends going to Valencia to her apartment!

We enjoyed our stay in Valencia and liked having the apartment so close to everything that we wanted to see. Maria was a wonderful hostess. She totally mapped out what we should see, based on our interests, each day of our visit. She was available in just minutes, as she lived close by. Check in-out was easy and seamless. Brought treats for us and helped to get English CNN up on the TV. The building is old (owned by nuns), and water pressure and temperature was inconsistent, but probably should be expected for an older building. Nice to have the washer/dryer combo. The apartment was beautiful, clean, well-equippped, centrally located, and comfortable. The host was excellent and very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Not only the apartment and location was amazing ,but the hostess was really made us feel like at home.The historical building with the views from every huge window and patio was upgraded with all possible equipment needed for the vacation.Just steps to all main historical building ,Valencia’s main attractions and market.We would definitely come back for s longer period of time.

This was our first trip to Valencia and hopefully won’t be our last, a beautiful, historic city. The apartment was perfect in every way, spacious, spotlessly clean, air-conditioned, well-equipped and just steps from the Plaza de la Reina. It was perfectly tucked away up a side street just off the main square which gave the best of both worlds - peace and tranquility when needed but in the heart of the action too. Evenings were spent in one of the many pavement cafes watching the world go by! The hosts were very welcoming and hospitable and gave us plenty of useful info and suggestions, they clearly take pride in delivering a 5 star service. We felt in safe hands should we have needed any assistance. Highly recommended!

This was our first visit to Valencia but not our last. It truly is now a place that is dear to our hearts. The apartment is so centrally located in the beautiful old town and nothing seemed more than 5 minutes walk. We loved strolling to the Central Market every morning for coffee, enjoying all the local restaurants every evening. Valencia certainly surpassed our expectations. Public transport from the airport to the apartment couldn't have been easier and Maria was there to meet and greet. She was so helpful and friendly telling us what there was to do and the best places to go. The apartment itself was very chic and located in a quiet pedestrian street just back from Placa de la Reina. It was a good size for our family of four (2 adults and 2 teenagers) and the air conditioning was a god send. We ate out for the 7 nights we were there however the kitchen was made use of and was very adequate, with a decent washing machine, fridge and dishwasher. We spent time on electric scooters; days on the beach and visiting the City of Arts and Sciences, which was truly awesome. with stunning architecture; and of course the wonderful old town. Seven days passed very quickly and we look forward to another trip soon to Valencia.
