The location - to the beach 2 minutes. Near the bus stop-buses to Port Louis. A supermarket is a 10-minute walk away. The road noise is not audible. View of a quiet street and neighboring houses. Large balcony. Spacious room. The kitchen is well equipped - there is everything you need. There is a Hairdryer, iron, extra bed linen and towels. The bathroom has a washing machine. The noise of the pump did not bother, because it was switched only for hot water in the shower. 5 doors, which must be closed - for your own safety. When checking in the apartment was clean. Wi-Fi is great. There is a paid transfer from / to the airport - without delays.

No cleaning in the apartment, air conditioning did not work in one of the rooms. Beach-when entering the sea corals and sea urchins-need special shoes.

- Loud water pump in the kitchen, which has to operate if you would like to have water pressure (e.g you want to use the toilet/shower or water in the kitchen). This is pretty nerving if other people want to have a rest/sleep at the same time. Even if no water is used, it turns on randomly. - you’re behind 4 locked doors/grids (plus outer fence to be locked) - the owner(?) was very explicit to lock all of them every time. - locked grids on every balcony door (visible on pictures if you look carefully). If you open the curtains, you see the grids. If you don’t open the curtains, rooms are dark. - dirty walls, light switches, fridge - no electric plug around the beds - neon lights which disturb your eyes - separate switch to turn on to have warm water - walk to restaurants takes like 5-10 minutes. It’s not much, on the other hand there’s nothing close around. That’s why it’s a quiet place. Some might like this, some dislike. - check the attached picture. It was 4-5cm large. This is not a sign of a clean / great place... So I moved out earlier than planned..

It felt like being at home. And the location was great, close to the beach, less than 5 mins walk. The hostess, Jeyah is a such a great lady, very polite and accommodating.

40 Euros a night seem a bit pricey for me.
