La casa está situada dentro del Parque Natural Sierra Norte de Sevilla. A la vez está muy cerca del pueblo (500m), por lo que tiene toda la tranquilidad de la naturaleza sin depender del coche para desplazarse. El amplio jardín da un entorno verde gustoso que es único para casas en la zona.
La casa tiene una decoración muy cuidada. Tiene un salón con chimenea, con vistas preciosas al jardín y la piscina. La cocina es un espacio grande, diseñado para hacer cocinar un evento social. Por supuesto puede cocinar fuera con la barbacoa o el paellero.
La casa dispone de un dormitorio doble abajo y un cuarto de baño con ducha y bidet. En la planta alta hay 3 dormitorios dobles y un cuarto de baño con bañera y ducha aparte.
En la casa anexa hay 4 dormitorios dobles adicionales, cada uno con su cuarto de baño con ducha en suite.

El jardín mide 9.000 m2 con mucho césped, lo cual lo hace verde y refresca en verano. Hay distintos tipos de árboles frutales y flores durante casi todo el año.
La parte más silvestre de la finca tiene unos 5 hectáreas y tiene castaños y almendros.
Nunca alquilamos a más de un grupo, es decir que siempre tendrá el disfrute exclusivo de la propiedad entera.

We had a fantastic stay at La Escribana. The house is perfect and the garden is very spacious and verdant.
The couple that look after the property, Lola and Fernando, are extremely attentive and were a real pleasure to meet- they attended every day to sort the pool and tend the immaculate garden and were always happy to offer suggestions for local bars, restaurants, trips, etc.
Maarten, the owner of the property, was in communication from the start and was very responsive and helpful dealing with any queries.
Constantina is a pleasant, working agricultural town which does not get many tourists. The property is outside the village itself, is only a 10 min walk away and has all the amenities you may need- a good range of supermarkets/food shops and plenty of bars with excellent food.
Sevilla and Cordoba are about an hour's drive away, the lovely city of Carmona 45 mins.
We would highly recommend and would love to go back again.

The property was superb. It was tastefully decorated and furnished, and very well equipped, especially the kitchen. It felt much more like a home than a rental. The online listing doesn't do justice to the lovely gardens and the spacious comfort of the main house, which, despite the fierce heat, was always cool. The secondary house of four en suites was also comfortable and relatively cool. The house is almost totally secluded, yet Constantina was an only a ten minute walk away, and is a characterful Spanish town - certainly much more than a village. It is truly Spanish - very little English spoken there, which made it seem delightfully unspoilt. Finally a special thanks to Lola and Fernando, the couple who look after the house and who were always on hand when needed.

Fantastic week’s holiday
We were an extended family group of ten (6 adults and 4 children), and this was a much needed holiday. The villa was spacious, comfortable, characterful and set in a beautiful location with large gardens and a short walk into the town. We loved Constantina which was a traditional Spanish town and were there for Holy Week and enjoyed the processions. We had a great day out in Seville too, and plenty to see and do.
Due to our party size, some of us slept in the separate house which had separate en-suite rooms. The swimming pool is unheated and a tad chilly as it was only April but the children enjoyed it. There was plenty of space to enjoy the garden and sunshine. We enjoyed eating out but also used the BBQ and had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook.
Maarten was very helpful prior to us arriving and kept us informed of local events whilst we were there.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our week away and would definitely recommend.

Great Holiday
Beautiful villa in lovely grounds in a quiet location and not too far to walk into Constantina. The villa was well equipped and stocked with oil , herbs, spices etc. There were grapes, tomatoes, peppers, chillis, figs and courgettes growing in the garden which were delicious. We were too late for the berries ;(. Maarten was a great host and responded to questions really quickly and was very flexible with our departure time. Maarten recommended a couple of places to eat, our favourite being Bodeguita Fale II.
I would definitely recommend staying here. We were a party of 6 and there was plenty of room for more people.

Beautiful villa in lovely grounds.
We were a family party of adults. The villa has very good facilities and the accommodation is very attractive. The village is within a few minutes walk and we liked the fact that there were no other tourists around. It is in lovely countryside. The owner, Maarten, was very helpful. We would recommend it.

Fantastic place!
This estate is absolutely amazing!
Beautifully renovated and decorated, loads of space inside and outside and everything was squeaky clean. We were 12 people in the age of 16 to 77 and everybody felt comfortable
Outside you can enjoy the magnificent garden, play football, swim in the swimming pool, play table tennis or just rest on one of the various terraces, always possible to adjust to either shade or sun.
Inside you will find a big and well equipped kitchen, big rooms with comfortable beds, the heating system worked well and we had plenty of warm water when showering.
Its within walking distance of Constantina, handy for shopping groceries and for restaurants.
Small hikes (approx 5-8 km) are just outside the door, and with a car both Sevilla, Cordoba and the national park are easily explored.
Biking on the Via Verde is very much recommended!
If you arrive on a Saturday afternoon, be aware to shop groceries
on your way, since all shops are closed down Saturday afternoon and all Sunday. If driving up from Sevilla, do your shopping there or in Lora del Rio.
Otherwise just enjoy the sounds of nature, the luxury of great taste and design

Inmejorable
Realmente inmejorable. Aparte de la belleza de la casa en su exterior y entorno, por dentro es aún mas impresionante que lo que muestra las fotos. El cuidado hasta el mas mínimo detalle es sorprendente, el gusto en la decoración, la limpieza de todas y cada una de las estancias, de la ropa de casa, el equipamiento de la cocina, la comodidad de las camas, la amplitud... He estado en otras casas que también estaban muy bien, pero ésta es hasta la fecha insuperable.

Great place to stay!
We had a great 8 days vacation here!
The house among its surroundings were as described on the website. The house itself was big enough for our group of 2 families (4 adults and 5 kids). In case of a bigger group of people or more privacy, there would have been also single rooms in the second house.
The kitchen was well equipped and big enough to cook for the whole bunch of people
We used also the fireplace in the living room which was also very nice.
The garden was beautiful and big enough to play football. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool which was also cleaned periodically.
Owners were very helpfull and in case we needed something it was taken care of instantly.
The house is quite near to village although in perfect own privacy - only few hundred meters down the hill to nearest grocery store.

Hemos pasado unos días estupendos en familia en La Escribana. Es una casa preciosa, llena de encanto, ideal para disfrutar en familia o/y con amigos. Los propietarios han cuidado cada detalle en cada rincón. La casa ofrece de todo para poder pasar unas fantásticas vacaciones: juegos de mesa, un jardín maravilloso, piscina, estancias cómodas y luminosas...
Los alrededores de la casa son perfectos para hacer senderismo, ya que desde la casa se acceden a diferentes senderos.
A un paso del pueblo, su ubicación es idónea para conocer Constantina y disfrutar los paisajes que ofrece la Sierra Norte de Sevilla.
Una casa ideal para descansar, relajarse y disfrutar con familia o amigos.

We Couldn't of Asked for More! The house was furnished so well, to a high standard & thought through with Guests in mind. The character of the house remains & adds an extra layer of Beauty too.
The grounds are amazing with so much space for the Kids to be free. The property was well looked after during our stay too, the pool guy cleaning it every morning & the grounds being watered & even a house clean too during our stay which was very welcome.
Local amenities are really close & the locals very friendly & helpful. Nice restaurants/bars/ ice cream bars & shops all within walking distance.
Words really don't describe how beautiful & special this villa is!

A lovely home in peaceful surroundings
The house and its amenities are of a very high standard and exactly as described and shown on the website. We were at La Escribana with a family party consisting of 3 generations and all had a great time. Everything, inside and out, was spotless. There are a lot of walks nearby and further away. Seville and Cordoba under 2 hours driving away. In Constantina itself there are restaurants, bars, supermarket, bakery, pharmcy etc. There is a restored castle on a hill overlooking the town. The owners are very helpful.

Geweldig vakantiehuis!
Wow, wat een geweldig plek! We (gezin met 3 kinderen) hebben genoten van ons verblijf! Het huis is zeer ruim en met smaak gerenoveerd en ingericht. Door de enorm dikke muren blijft het huis ook bij erg warm weer heerlijk koel. In het huis zijn boven 3 grote slaapkamers en een badkamer met allemaal een geweldig uitzicht. Beneden is in een af te sluiten deel van het huis nog een slaapkamer met badkamer. De woonkamers en keuken zijn prachtig ingericht en schoon. Je voelt je meteen thuis. In het bijgebouw zijn nog 4 zelfstandige appartementen bij te huren. Ook allemaal goed ingericht, schoon en voorzien van alle gemakken.
De omliggende tuin is werkelijk idyllisch mooi. Een groene oase met zwembad, bomen en enorme grasvelden. De tuin is zo groot dat we er pas na een paar dagen achter kwamen dat er ook een vaste BBQ stond. De Hazelnoot-boomgaard buiten de omheining bleek er ook nog bij te horen en in de bosrand vonden de kinderen een boomhut! Wat een avontuur.
Het terrein heeft een ruime parkeerplaats en is afgesloten met een stalen hek. Na een paar honderd meter onverharde weg (geen 4x4 nodig) rij of loop je het centrum van Constantina al in. Dat bleek een hardstikke leuk plaatsje met veel winkels, barretjes en typisch Andalusische restaurantjes waar we elke avond voor een prikkie hebben gegeten tussen de Spanjaarden, want de rest van Europa heeft dit nog niet ontdekt!
We komen zeker terug!
