Ein 24h Hotel - rund um die Uhr - bestens für die frühe Abreise am Flughafen. Aber das Hotel kann durchaus auch als Ausgangspunkt benutzt werden. Die Hotelangestellten sind jung, aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell! Sehr gut! N.b.: im Restaurant hatten wir zum Abendessen u.a. sensationellen Tintenfisch!

Location, staff and food

Très bien situé à quelques minutes du terminal 1, service de navette efficace et gratuit, grande flexibilité pour répondre aux besoins des voyageurs, buffet du petit-déjeuner à partir de 2h du matin, personnel courtois disponible et attentionné.

Le système de climatisation difficile à régler.

Localização. Vc vai a pé do aero até ele. Café excelente!

Location near airport. Reasonably efficient shuttle to the airport. Friendly desk staff. Welcome drink at the bar. Breakfast starts very early for air travelers. The warm breakfast selection is very good.

Easy to walk to/from Airport. Friendly staff. Buffet meal was surprisingly tasty and reasonably priced. Bar staff was friendly

A/C had a lower limit of 20 Degrees C which was not enough to keep the room cool during the summer.

I've stayed here several times for its convenient location near the airport and its delicious breakfast buffet. The room is modern, clean and the water pressure in the shower is excellent.

I have stayed here several times before and only on my recent visit did I have a disappointment. On a hot afternoon in late July, none of the staff that were there knew how to make a drink on their menu called a "Betty Curtis", which is really a Campari Spritz. It took a very long time between ordering that drink and for me to be told that they "didn't have" it, which puzzled me because the bright red bottle of Campari was clearly visible on the glass bar shelf, so I knew that I was being lied to. It surprised me that there was not a recipe book for the staff to refer to in order make it, or why any of them did not have the acumen to look up how to make it online. I did not appreciate that.

No place to unload the vehicle for check-in and 2 euro parking fee for 1 hour. Luggage scale in the lobby cost 1 euro.

Great location for catching an early morning flight. Breakfast served from 2am and was very good.

The free airport shuttle serves both Star Inn and adjacent Melia hotel. Far too small a vehicle for demand. Walking to terminal, while not far, is uphill and inconvenient, eliciting harsh remarks from my better half. Improvement needed for guest comfort.

The property is perfect for an early morning flight as it’s about a 6 minute walk to the airport. The lobby is cute and well decorated. The room was huge with a big comfortable bed. They offer a huge and extensive breakfast buffet that includes fresh cooked eggs in different styles, meats, cheeses, all kinds of breads, coffee, cakes…. I only wish our flight was later so I could’ve eaten more (ha). Breakfast also starts at 2am, which is amazing if you’re leaving very early. The staff were all friendly as well.

The only negatives to this property was the price of course (it’s much more expensive than most hotels in Portugal, but not exorbitant) and the fact that you can hear other doors slamming in the hall all night. I could tell they did a great job sound proofing the hotel from outside noise, as I didn’t hear any airplane noise, but the noise from the halls weren’t considered as much. Overall, a great place to stay to get to your early morning flight.
