It’s close enough to the resort so that you can access the lifts walking. The warm welcome of Megumi & Toshi made my stay all the more memorable !

Clean and warm. Although there was cold at night, the room was warmth enough.

The bed was a little bit soft to me, depends on whether you feel okay to soft bed.

Absolutely awesome place to stay. Very welcoming and acomadating hosts, great common room where there is always a friendly atmosphere with the other guests. Good location and the hosts will point you to the best places to visit in hakuba.

All the Kitchen cutleries are available at hotel just you have to carry your food But location is little outskirt but not so difficult to find and reach.

Heating and Air condition they have to replace new. Even we didn't know how to control air-condition during our stay so we didn't use air condition. We used only heater

All facilities were clean. There is free drinks (coffe&tea) in lobby, and also have all kitchen utensils if you want to cook. And hostel is 12 minutes on feet to Goryu Escal Plaza. So you don’t need to take bus for going to ski. Owners are very polite and helpful people. He picked me up from bus stop when I arrived to Hakuba, and also took me to bus stop again when I leave. And they gave me nice advices&ideas for my next trip. As owner and his family live in the same hostel, there is always family warmth in lobby, with not only owner’s family, but also other guests. Also the view from the lobby’s window is fascinating when it snows. If you like travel and also meet with different people from different cultures, K’s House will be one of the best choose. Because you may meet and talk other guests and can have a wonderful time together in lobby. And I would like to stay here again, if I will have a chance to visit Hakuba one more time.

The nearest kombini is 1.3 km from hostel. (However, staff take you to kombini by car if they are available)

The owners are super friendly, making you live a special in-family experience with all the comforts and support you may need!

Staff was so nice. I was able to have a bag of rented hiking gear mailed here. Afterwards the staff was so helpful that they helped me mail back the rental equipment. This really helped me enjoy my trip. No stress figuring things out.

A lot hard to find.

Location It’s a short drive to the mountains. There are many restaurants in Hakuba that is a 10-15 minute drive from the hostel. Staff Very informative and helpful. Was able to give advice on where to go and what to do. Parking There’s 4 or 5 free parking spots.

It’s a little difficult to find. So you might drive past it.

Access to the guesthouse is easy via car. It's location is also near the train station for those who don't have a car. The area is very quiet, no problem with noise in during the night from outside or inside. Staff are very helpful, with great knowledge of the local area and for those who are interested in hiking in the northern alps. Kitchen facilities are great, some of the best I've seen in Japan, allowing you to cook your own meals easily instead of having to rely on restaurants or the convenient stores.

There really isn't anything I didn't like about the guesthouse. If I was to be picky, the only thing that I would like different would be the lamps. If they were a little more compact in size to give you just that little extra head space that would be great.

it’s near the bus shuttle stop to goryu, very clean and the staff especially toshi, meg and hiro are so friendly and warm :-) i really enjoyed my stay there
