Adorei o quarto casa na árvore! Lindo! Confortável! E super privado. Adoramos a jacuzzi. A natureza em volta é relaxante. Wi-Fi funciona bem. As refeições inclusas estavam gostosas.

A limpeza é muito fraca. Nosso banheiro não estava propriamente limpo, depois de levantar a privada a gente viu. As janelas sujas (quarto e restaurante). No café da manhã vi teia de aranha debaixo de uma cadeira.

Acho que em primeiro lugar está o atendimento do pessoal. Todos muito gentis e prestativos! A arquitetura do local é bem bonita e convidativa! O local é realmente muito bom para descansar.

Esperamos mais em muitos quesitos visto que o preço é tão elevado. Mesmo levando em conta o estilo da arquitetura, em alguns aspectos imaginamos algo mais confortável e com um certo luxo (isso falando especialmente do quarto), não achamos que o local seja luxuoso como vimos em algumas descrições. As refeições, incluindo café da manhã deixaram bastante a desejar! Nas redes sociais e anúncios citam sempre "alta gastronomia", mas a maioria das refeições que fizemos estavam longe de ser uma alta gastronomia. O self-service era bem padrão, não tinha tantas opções e nada que tivesse um diferencial de tantas outras cozinhas que não são consideradas de alta gastronomia, que são boas, mas nada demais. Já os pratos a la carte eram bem saborosos, mas eram mal servidos, meu marido sempre continuava com fome depois do jantar. E o café da manhã era bem ok e não tinha tantas opções como em muitos outros locais bem mais baratos que já fomos. Eu criei uma grande expectativa com a "cozinha mineira" e até o pão de queijo só fomos descobrir no último dia de estadia pq uma pessoa veio nos dizer onde ficava. Enfim, muito caro para o que oferece.

We’ve traveled yo many countries and have stayed at numerous gorgeous 5-star hotels, but we agree that Confraria was one of the most unique! My husband and so stayed in the bungalow/tree house. A very cool experience! Dining was superb. Val was our head waiter. Extremely accommodating (as everyone was) but in addition, he spoke perfect English which was so helpful for us since we stayed for 3 nights. We appreciated his professional services immensely. Every meal was excellent. Everything is homemade as this resort does not have a huge amount of guests. AMAZING HOMEMADE BREADS were a highlight. We were told that the resort handles about 60 max, and the food and service reflect the “small resort feel”, very personal. The walkways built above the trees are unique and have several alcoves in which to sit and relax. So stunning and a beautiful setting.

The ONLY complaint is that one of the women at reception was not very nice. Our son and his wife added on an extra room to have her brother and family meet us there for 2 nights. They mistakenly checked off “breakfast only” instead of “full board” when booking on booking,com. You were very nice about saying that you would make the adjustment but that you had to also call the hotel to confirm the change. The woman at the hotel desk was not at all accommodating. This shouldn’t have been a big deal to adjust. She finally did it but made them pay an additional large amount of money over what it should have been to add on the amount it should have been for the additional meals. Not nice at all. I have worked in customer service for over 4 decades. This is not how you handle customers who are kind and bringing you good business. In the end, that was the only thing that left a bitter taste for us. Everything else and EVERYONE ELSE couldn’t have been nicer.

It is impeccable. It is truly magical and colonial. The decks on the tops of the trees are unique.

The property is spacious and beautiful. The pool looks great, but it's too cold to go in in winter. The staff were very friendly. The bathtub.

For the steep price, I was expecting more. First, the hotel is not "all-inclusive", only food is included which is not really clear. The bathtub in the room had some light stains and no one came to clean the room and make the bed, which isn't such a big deal to me, but again, for the price I was expecting it to be better.
