I liked the property and view.

The room was hot. Not enough towels for family of four. The rooms we rented could have been side by side but they weren't. Expensive for what you got.

Not enough parking spots

- Nice location within driving distance to Tobermory. - Fine bay, but there were too many mosquitos. - Comfortable beds. - Private swimming pool for all guests. But we didn't try it, because of weather.

- It's presenting itself as a 3 star hotel, but it's a motel. - Missing kettle. - Very slow Wi-Fi, not suitable even for common surfing. But it's possible it's a regional problem. - Quite lound fan in the bathroom that automatically switches on with lights. It could wake up other room-mates in the night.

Loved the outdoor space

This interesting historic resort is located on the bank of Owen Sound on the beautiful Bruce Peninsula. We loved wandering over the extensive property and wished we could stay longer. The rooms are old, but very clean and well-appointed. The owner has plans to remodel and refurbish them. No breakfast is provided, but we had access to a dining room/kitchen building where we could prepare food and eat meals. That building housed a library, a collection of DVDs, games and more. The campus included a swimming pool, horseshoes, boats, a beach and beautiful lawns, trees, and shrubs.

Weather was chilly in October, so we couldn't enjoy all the facilities. Otherwise, it was a delightful stay.

Very cold room and shower was freezing cold.

Beautiful location

I struggled to get my car out if the parking lot in the morning after a snowfall.

The view! And the owner was so kind and welcoming.
