Really beautiful property and very clean. excellent staff

Very comfortable bed with great quality bedding, well equipped with dishes, fridge and stove (which we didn't use). Access to a small patio but no furniture. Towels were high quality but full size bar of Irish Spring soap seemed wasteful. Easy access with code and key, decent wifi and selection of TV channels.

Thought there was a sitting area so expected a couch/loveseat. Only one comfortable chair and a very small fold up table with two chairs. Hot water was an issue for a bath but managed a lukewarm bath and shower. Room was very warm as air conditioner was removed. Had a ceiling fan but didn't run through the night as directly over bed as noisy and only speed was too fast.

We stayed at the 71 Sydney St property. It is a beautiful old mansion with several sitting rooms on the first level: music room, sun room, dining room, living room. It is not hosted — all contact is electronic. Our first floor suite was lovely.

The 'uptown' part of Saint John, where this property is located, is a little sketchy at night, but our area was very quiet and there were no problems. We paid for the privilege to park on the street, and parking regulations in this town are complicated. Expect many long emails describing access codes and parking restrictions.

Beautiful historical details in the room/ property. High ceilings. Kitchenette was incredibly clean and organized, and a great feature if staying a few days. Housekeeping staff were incredibly prompt and had impressive attention to detail. Check-in and parking was made very easy with great pre- arrival communication.

the entryway into the hotel seemed dated, in comparison to the beautiful design and setup of our suite.

The location was perfect ! A very short walk to everything downtown.

I did think it would be more than one room as in some of the pictures but that was just an oversight of me not reading more carefully. Maybe next time will book a bigger suite.
