hotel is irresponsibly filthy. The swimming pool is empty and the continental breakfast is no more. There were stains of an unspecified nature splattered on the wall, towels are old threadbare and scratchy. To add insult to injury, the vending machine stole 5 dollars from me. Rose Garden remember that you are a hotel, act like one.

I liked the location, and have been staying there at least 2 to 3 times a year. So I thought I knew what I was getting.

Super unhappy with my last Stay. I Reserved a king size smoking room , the pictures that I was given to pick from had a king sized bed and a bath tub. When I arrived I asked if it was a smoking and a king bed the front desk told me yes. When we entered the room it was a full/king size bed . I then called the office and they said they were sold out of king sized bedrooms. I did not understand how this could be since I reserved and paid for a king sized smoking room. I then went to go take a bath after a long trip, entered bathroom and saw there was a shower. I then again called the front desk and told him I just looked at my reservation and it was a king smoking room and it shows a picture of a bath tub. He said there was nothing he could do that they were sold out Of king size smoking rooms. I reminded him that he told me it was a king sized room and he said he overlooked that. I asked to be accommodated because I have enjoyed staying at rose hotel I stay there 2 or 3 times a year while visiting family. He said there was nothing he could do that they can't reimburse me that i could choose to leave or go in a non smoking room. This is very frustrating that I can't get what I paid for to reserve. If I didn't show up for my reservation I was going to be charged anyways, so I'm not sure why since I had a reservation, it wasn't there for me when I arrived.

1st room smelled really bad. The room was not clean. Although I requested a different room the manager was not pleasant about it. There was partying all night in the room next door. The room wasn’t clean-the floors and carpet were sticky.
