Jennifer at the front desk was very nice. We came in for LSU Football spring game and the LSU womens softball game. They gave us a earlier check in. Very close to LSU and right next to I10

Visited Baton Rouge to attend a sporting competition in a different hotel, but decided to stay at the Hampton Inn. Staff were very friendly and helpful, lovely room with 2 x double beds, complimentary coffee in the lobby plus breakfasts. Large Walmart across the road and a few restaurants. Short taxi drive from the airport. Very pleased with our 2 night stay here.

We stayed at the Hampton in off College drive for two nights (Friday-Sunday). My family consist of two babies under 2, my husband and I. My toddler is 22 months old and knows a few words, but mainly communicates loudly. He cries for a minute or two until we give him what he wants, or he'll repeat what he wants until he has it in hand. Nothing unreasonable and certainly no crying for long periods of time. Yesterday, as we were loading our luggage cart, we received a call from the front desk stating another guest had complained about our noise. "Our noise," meaning our son? Mind you, it was the 7am hour and the hotel welcomes guests to eat at 6am. If the hotel didn't want movement and making normal packing up a luggage cart noise, then they shouldn't open for breakfast at 6am (we were there for 6:15am) . I find it completely unreasonable for a family with small children to be shamed for being awake and moving around during awake hours, while those same neighbors could be running up and down the halls and slamming doors until 2am (which I know because I was feeding my 4 mo). The fact that the hotel staff called us to complain for us doing normal morning things with our reasonably noise leveled children was so unwelcoming. Luckily, we were half way loaded and we left within 10 minutes of the call. I will not stay at that hotel again.
