Das Zimmer war groß und sauber, das Frühstück wirklich okay und reichhaltig.
Das Einchecken verlief etwas "holprig"- wir mussten etwa 30 Minuten auf einen Mitarbeiter warten. Es war niemand da, als ich die Telefonnummer anrief, klingelte das Telefon, welches in der Rezeption stand.
Eine andere Kundin erzählte mir während des Wartens, dass sie am Vorabend dasselbe Problem hatte...

The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was tasty!
The room was too close to the lobby. It was often very noisy especially at 6:30am. Not exactly a good place for a room.

it was close to everything we wanted to do in Glenwood
1) the bathroom door did not shut properly,we had to use a small carry-on to keep the door shut
2) when l booked the room the photo showed a wall between the Queen beds, and the fold out couch. when I arrived, it had two queen beds and a couch right next to it when you pulled out the bed from the couch, you had about 4 inches on both sides, which meant you could not walk beside the fold out bed ,so you had to climb from the end of the bed to climb in.
3) When l went to the front desk and asked her supposed to for the room in the photo, l was told those rooms have been rented, and this was the only room that was left ( that had the two beds in a fold out couch ) I was sad to hear that. when I was reserving the hotel, it was between two different hotels. This hotel had the wall between the beds and the couch and that is the reason I picked it , the other Hotel had more to offer ( choosing Holiday Inn express was a bad decision)

customer service. Toilet was clogged when we got to room. We went to front desk and they gave my husband a plunger to fix it,didn't want to be bother with it.

the food was very good fresh & hot that was 1 of the better breakfast i had! good job!! great variety too.
i had to do my own housekeeping, it was not till 3 day that someone told me you had to fill out a sheet to have room done.
also i was already charge my room to my card $200.00 over what i booked online. it was to be an average of $125.00 a night & was charge $984.64 from from $639.00 for 5 days cause 4th of july was extra. plus it screwed my cc for the day , i was @ my limit $1000.00 & could not pay my bill @ the village inn. Embarrassing to say the least i thought i was going to be able to pay on another card but hotel said it was already paid.

Originally booked for a family suite for 5 nights . Upon arrival to the room, the AC was not working, the Fridge was dirty ( spilt orange juice) the microwave is dirty, no soap on sink. The countertops was sticky . We were then accommodated to 2 different rooms with the assurance that there would be no changes with the rate.
On day 2 we were promised to be given the family room but still did not happen and so we settled with keeping the 2 rooms. During checkout we were billed about$400 more than the original booking.
All in all for our 5 days stay we talked to 6 different staff.. I want to thank Blanca who tried her best and the manager on the last day for correcting our bill..
oh , I almost forgot that there were bugs in our room.. I had to request for the housekeeping to vacuum.. Please check room 303. It was coming from the window by the AC and they placed tape on the window, Iguess to keep the bugs from coming in..
It was a very disappointing stay especially during this pandemic when you expect that this hotel will adhere to their IHG cleanliness promise.. I usually do not complain and give negative rating but this one I cannot ignore because of cleanliness, sanitation comcerns…

The room size was adequate. The cleanliness was excellent. The A/C worked perfectly (it was hot outside) and all the furniture was new.
The lack of towels. Yes, towels. We were given 2 bath towels and one face/one wash towel for a family of 4.
Also, the fridge was mulfunctioning in room 205 and it froze ALL of our food. All of it. The housekeeping is optional now and you got to fill out a form (!!) every morning if you want your trash emptied or coffee supplies to replenish. What?! Really??? How about I will optionally pay for that optional housekeeping?!

When we arrived the elevator was not working very good. Then it broke. My mom is in a wheelchair and we were on the 2nd floor. We he'd to walk her down 2 flights of stairs. Nothing was offered to help us out. She was very upset. What would happen if there was a fire. We had to leave a day early because of the elevator broke down. As soon as the elevator starting acting up it should have been fixed. Again nothing was offered for our inconvenience. Not real happy about that.

I requested towels and trash empty every day. Always had to put trash and towels out with trash. No breakfast was provided the last two days we were there. Desk clerks were very nice.

Room is too small and has very poor lighting. Bag breakfast with 3 items including the bottle of water. Our in-laws got to breakfast an hour after it opened and there were none left.

The hotel was very clean & looked nice.
We couldn't check in before we went sightseeing because the internet was down. We were told to come back in a few hours. Luckily we didn't have much packed, since we were only staying 1.5 days, (and we drove our own car) so we kept the luggage in the trunk of the car, while we did our sightseeing.

Check-in was great. The gentleman was friendly and courteous. Recommended an awesome restaurant for dinner.
Parking was limited. Smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling and not hooked up. The person who checked us out was not very friendly. No smile. Felt we took her away from her talk with the person sitting with her.
