breakfast ok, nothing special am desk clerk nice
breakfast stops at 9:30--front desk did not give our coupons when we checked in, had to go back that am to get coupons. rooms clean, but older no microwave in room, just 1 in the hallway near elevator

The breakfast was ok not great but adequate. The staff was friendly helpful and accommodating. Being absolutely new to the city the staff went above and beyond helping me navigate the city. The facilities were dated but about what I expected. The location was ok and close to every thing I wanted to see so I was ok with the property

The location of the hotel was about perfect for us. Was either a short car ride or a short walk to where we wanted to go.. the staff was nice.
Beds are horrible. May as well sleep on a brick. Also the air conditioning needs some work. Filters were filthy. The price is too high for what you get. The online photos makes the hotel better looking than what it really is. The whole hotel definitely needs a face lift.

The property didn’t seem to have any type of bugs and the shower and toilet were clean.
The pull out couch had a mattress that had stuff on it, and under the mattress was disgusting. The king bed had pubic hair on the spread. The mattress was hard as a rock on the bed and much of nothing on the pull out. There were no sheets, pillows or blankets for the pullout either. Kept hearing a knock on the window, but we were on the 3rd floor so I’m not sure how that was possible. The room was hot and my husband checked the air conditioner filters and they were nasty. They had the air to where it didn’t go any lower than 66 degrees. There was also child handprints on the glass door to the bathroom.

The bed was very comfy. Shower worked perfectly. Good fridge in the room. Wifi worked fine.
The room was not superclean. We stayed for 2 days and the cleaning ladies did not come to clean the room or supply freshly cleaned towels.
If at all possible, do not take the breakfast. Everything was cold, bacon hard crispy. A waste of our money.

Both of my stays were not able to be confirmed. The first accommodation was a luxury apartment that was unavailable. The manager of the property explained that they unlisted the property months ago. My second accommodation which was The Holiday Inn Cincinnati-River Front had no record of a reservation for me. However the Holiday Inn Riverfront did charge me for the 2 nights plus another $100 fee for a stay that never happened. I had to find housing elsewhere, which means I had to pay another fee elsewhere. This was an awful experience.

My grandsons enjoyed the gym.
This may have been my mistake, but I thought they offered a continental breakfast. On Saturday morning there was only coffee and the on site cafeteria was closed.

The condition of the room was terrific and the TV station choices were great too. The staff was friendly and courteous.
The breakfast was adequate for the price paid but could have been better with more selections i.e. waffles/pancakes, sausage gravy and biscuits and sweet rolls/donuts. I didn't see those choices. There was a restaurant on the premises which would have made making a better breakfast an easy task for this hotel. In the future we will not opt for the breakfast on site and go elsewhere. The toilet paper was atrocious. A Holiday Inn can do much better. The 6:30 a.m. wake-up call that we DID NOT ask for was ridiculous too. We were vacationing not working!
