Jacuzzi in the room and clean

1st night our room was clean and everything in the room was functional but the room was not serviced very well at all when we returned for our second night. . The desk staff was truly exceptional. Hot Breakfast was not good at all, to be kind, but at least there were some bagels and pastries and fruit. I would not waste my calorie count on the "hot breakfast". The major interior renovation that was ongoing with the associated noise, uncleanliness, and NOT documented anytime during the booking.com reservation process is unforgiveable.

Unknown to us until we arrived, the Inn was undergoing major interior renovation that will continue through May 2023. There was a lot of interior construction activity ongoing, and while the room was clean, the hallways were GROSS with something that looked like bodily fluid stain on the floor outside of our room door for the duration of our stay (we had to step around it.). Coincidently when we drove by our 2nd choice motel, it was also undergoing an undocumented major exterior renovation. Booking .Com has Got To Do Better! Breakfast was a grease/oil fest the 1st day will uneatable burnt sausage swimming in a pool of oil. The 2nd day there was no warm food to be had at 7:30 because the construction workers had helped themselves to it all. Too nasty to waste my daily calorie allotment on this stuff.

The property is situated near a variety of restaurants as well as The Cumberland Mall. A great and convenient location!

I always pass the entrance on Smith Street, eventhough there is a sign and an arrow… It is great that The Holiday Inn and Suites is not situated on the main road,on the other hand,the entrance to Smith Street is easily missed …

Check in was easy. Reception was very sweet on December 12 at 1pm

Reception at front desk on 12/13 at 6am was unprofessional. I approached the front desk at 6am. A tall man was looking down, presumably at a phone. I asked if late check out was available. He looked up at me finally and responded “Not today.” He didn’t even glance at the computer to determine availability. It didn’t seem like the hotel was near capacity since there were only two cars in the parking lot when I left. This man needs to be trained on the appropriate response when people request late check out. His attitude was unacceptable in the workplace
