Good location

Inconvenient parking, bathroom setup (no shower door), a bug on the bed as soon as I got there

The staff are welcoming and friendly

We loved the place, only think Trying to look for drinking water at night was deal breaker and also there was a wedding the guest talked through the night, it felt they were sitting by our window.

We had an unusual situation. We were there for a wedding, and my father is 92 and a veteran. We had 3 rooms, 1 for my sister, one for my dad, and one for us. It was imperative that we at leas had 2 of the rooms that joining. The staff at the front desk when we checked in, were amazing and were able to get us that AND get all of the rooms on the same floor. I couldn't thank them enough.

The beds were very soft and uncomfortable. My significant other has a really bad back, and it was just not good for him. It sagged in the middle and made it nearly impossible to get comfortable. The room was really hot when we got there, but that was also taken care of fairly quickly.

Location to City Government and ease to get to capitol helped my stay.

The location to the Xcel. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet.

The manager was rude and lied to us, telling us there were "no microwaves in the building" when you could clearly see one sitting on the counter of the Intercontinental Club Room. Apparently, at this hotel, $177 a Sunday night isn't spending enough to get to use a microwave. Them calling themselves a luxury hotel is laughable. The bathroom also smelled like urine. We tried leaving the door open and spraying perfume, but you couldn't get the smell out of the bathroom. So either leave the bathroom door open to try and air it out, but then our hotel room smelled like it, so we left it closed and dealt with it.

Breakfast was good

We stayed on a weekend with several wedding parties. When we checked out Sunday morning, there was an hour-long wait for our car. The hotel should have ensured more valets were working that day.

Great filling American breakfast with home made strawberry preserve - delicious pancakes for kids.
