No room clean/towel change during the stay, no option to fill bottle with cold water besides breakfast hours. All these are minor points given the positive experience we had there.

Upon my arrival, I requested to cancel my booking, which the front desk confirmed was possible and refundable. To ensure this, I also called the booking customer service and spoke with a representative while the front desk was present. They assured me that the cancellation was valid and promised a refund, blaming a system error for the delay. However, despite not spending any time at the hotel, I never received my refund, and no one was willing to take responsibility for the issue. I repeatedly contacted customer service in an effort to resolve the matter, but with no success. The front desk was unable to locate my information since I had not checked in, while the booking company insisted that I had stayed at the hotel and charged me accordingly. I am a Cornell University graduate who was simply trying to enjoy a nice weekend with my friend. As Cornell has one of the top-ranked hotel management programs in the world, this level of service is unacceptable and a waste of their reputation. Those who still choose to live in Ithaca indefinitely should be wary of such poor service. I look forward to the day when robots replace front desk and booking customer service staff, as they are less prone to mistakes and will not pretend as though the situation never happened.
