The location is close to restaurants.

The room is a dump: peeled or scarred paints of wood work and walls, rusted bath tub, very thin walls that you can hear your neighbours, broken pavement in the parking, broken down spouts and the property gave a look of disrepair street. Tacked on cleaning and service charges which jumped up the price for the stay. The queen bed is slopping in the middle.

Very friendly people, we had the accessible room and it was big and clean.

Just a suggestion: The bathroom could use some wall hooks for towels or necessities.

Room was extremely outdated. WiFi was very weak. Sleeping on the floor would of been more comfortable than on the mattress.

The room was updated in terms of flooring and bathroom amenities, however the overall Motel was very unpleasant.

We were located right on the busy street, so sleeping was a challenge and the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. When paying over $250 a night for a room, you would expect a nicer hotel. I get many Motels in SLO are older basic Motels, but as a parents dropping their child off for College, I am tired of being taken advantage off. Charging $249 a night for a 2 star Motel is criminal. Your only other choice this week is paying $500-$800 for a nicer Hotel. Shameful.

The bathroom was brand new, very large and well equipped.

I was surprised there was no coffee machine in the room. It was not mentioned at check in. I didn't ask because I thought all 2 and 3 start hotels had them. The closest place to get coffee early in the morning is 7-11 which is a few minutes' drive away.

I must say I was very impressed how comfortable and clean it was, the bed was comfortable, the location was perfect I would stay again when I go back to SLO
