Cute little room, great location. And hands down the best customer service we've ever received!!!

Tiny room. Cleaned. basic enough for a quick stopover for a nights sleep.

We had a great time at Sunbeam Motel. Super friendly staff, easy check in, good internet and enough space for us. There is even a fridge!

Things are a bit old and some things could use a renovation. In the bathroom there is no space to put your stuff, but yeah we didnt have high expectations, so things were alright :)

Convenient check in with a real nice Mgr. named Jerry and very clean cozy room which was what I was after, walking distance to food and my show and I will gladly stay there again rather than drive home late from a concert, thanks.

Well, I knew staying right on Monterey St. could be an issue since there is a freeway on ramp right there but I brought some ear plugs just in case, the other issue that really didn't bother me was the room heater which I may have needed with my wife, it didn't seem to work at all, but since I didn't get back to my room till very late, I just enjoyed the warm bed...

I work in SLO county twice a month for several days at a time. It’s winter & near XMAS, but I don’t like to spend a lot, I’m there to earn. This had the best price for the area. I was expecting a dump. I read someone else’s review that they were pleasantly surprised, so I was hopeful. The mgr greeted me for check in. We had a fun conversation. When I got to the room it truly was a nice room. All of the fine finishes for a remodel were done. There wasn’t anything in the room in need of repair. Comfy bed, great sheets, good internet. I tested its speed. It was averaging 100mps. Microwave & refrigerator came with the room. It was a very pleasant stay. I will return.

I have no dislikes, I always hope for a bathtub, but they didn’t have one.

Older Motel well cared for by owner. Many walkable food/drink locations nearby. Affordable. Have stayed multiple times so I must like overall value

Road can be noisy but quiets down. Setting room fan on continuous helps

The room was perfect! Small, in good condition and super clean. The heater had been turned on for us so that when we arrived the room was super cozy. I was a little concerned about passing traffic but it didn’t interfere with my sleep. I slept like a baby.

close to downtown SLO, big rooms, very affordable

not the nicest rooms but expected for the price, pretty uncomfortable beds, noisy rooms

our room was so near to the street so too much noise for me (this depends all on you). There was dust wherever, I couldn’t imagine to turn on the hitter, it was full of dust.

very helpful staff. room was cozy but well appointed. had a mini fridge w freezer and microwave, unlike some penny pinching pound-foolish competition
