Location, hot breakfast (when available— first days it was just a continental breakfast due to construction)
Construction meant no hot breakfast, no pool, no business services printer.

The property was very clean and tidy even during construction. Staff informed us of the construction and the change in breakfast options. The breakfast was very fresh and still had many options
I was distracted that the pool was under repair but it was not a deal breaker for us.

When I booked on line, should let people know the pool was out of order and no breakfast when it says breakfast included , that's the 2 main reasons we chose to stay there .we brought it up to staff , 2 different people and they did not have much to say I will never go back or recommend

Nothing, When we got to the property they had had a pipe burst, no pool and no breakfast, and none of this was posted in the website when we booked it the night before, so we ended up going to another hotel, staff was very rude

We liked the cleanliness if the room. The convenient fast food, market, movie theatres above all we liked the peace and quiet both inside room to the parking areas.
There was no dislikes from this hotel. Compared to other hotel top names, this one was above expectations for a Hampton.

The bed is always so comfortable and cozy, and I can't wait to relax after my day.
I saw that one of the tables didn't get wiped down thoroughly, so I did that with a washcloth. Also, the blind over the white privacy blind was broken, so I couldn't raise/lower it, so I changed in the bathroom.

I booked a room at this Hampton through Booking.com, at a non-refundable price. I then wanted to change to ANOTHER HAMPTON nearby, but this Hampton would not refund my money, cooperate with my stay at the other Hampton, or even reply to my inquiries. I got exactly ZERO RESPONSE from this Hampton or their staff. Finally, I just ate the cost and stayed at the other Hampton. THIS IS NOT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. They could have given me a voucher, or half my money back, or something. Instead I just GOT STIFFED. Non-refundable clearly means non-refundable, but since it was another Hampton, they could have done more, or at least replied in a timely manner.

The room is always comfortable. I can relax after my appointments and eat dinner in bed 😊
This time I had a room that faced the road and it was clear this was the older part of the hotel by how noisy the air conditioner was. They had the WiFi on the wall but the old unit, so I'm assuming they're going to renovate soon? I don't want to be placed on that side again, If possible.

The bed is super comfortable, I always sleep so well here. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
My second night stay I was in a room that faced Highland Ave., a very busy street no matter what time of day or night, so it was a little noisy. Also, the cooler/heater was one of the old ones by the window and they set it down to 67*. I was freezing so I turned it up and as soon as I did that, it started to smell like it was burning and then the smoke detector went off! I only turned it up to 74*! I thought the whole place was going to burn down. This was room 139, if anyone's interested. I turned it back to cool and left it on 74 in hopes I wouldn't get too cold. The rest of the night was uneventful, thank goodness lol

The bed was very comfortable, great pillows! Everything was very clean and tidy, though it could've used more waste baskets. Since my room didn't have a view, they had these white blinds that were very nice that let in the light but allowed for privacy. I really enjoyed the room.
Very tiny Coffee machine with too little condiments. I really wanted to make my favorite tea the evening of my arrival but with that machine, I couldn't do that. A normal small (2-4 cup) coffee machine works well for all types of hot beverage, and would score high for your guests.

High price. But it seemed that all the hotels in Phoenix were high. Maybe it is the time of year.
