I did not feel satisfied then and I do not feel satisfied with this now. I spent close to $500 for a three night stay in which I had to deal with grievances, dirty linen, and faulty outlets. I did NOT enjoy this experience by any means, and I wont forget it. I only had that weekend to spend with my fiance and it was ruined due to the overall smell atmosphere of the room. That was the first thing we noticed only to step in water peaking from the a/c unit. The full refund was promised by Booking claiming that "you would be more than glad to help." Thank you for making my stay truly "unforgettable" Mr. Preslar.

The location was excellent! There were so many stores/restaurants in the area. Some were in walking distance of the hotel. There was free parking and you were able to find a park. The hotel had an excellent breakfast. The staff was pleasant. The time we stayed was amazing. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The pool area was not pleasant witn some guests smoking marijuana with kids swimming in the pool. So, my sisters and I left the pool area before things got bad.

I really liked the whole atmosphere of the location, and the breakfast was nice also. They just need to use bigger cups for the guests to drink from.

The toilet kept making noise once it was flushed. The wash needs to be replaced in order to stop it from running and making noise.

My family and I were guests at the SpringHill Suites – Jacksonville (4385 Southside Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32216) for a dance competition this past weekend. Unfortunately, our experience was quite alarming. In a span of 36 hours, we witnessed several incidents of great safety concern. The dance competition schedule results in a lot of coming and going by little girls and their mothers, before dawn and after 11:00 pm. Friday night, while unwinding in the lobby, my wife and I encountered 2 prostitutes, clearly on drugs, roaming the property and engaging hotel staff. It was clear that one had been transported to the property for the purpose of meeting a man on the 3rd floor. The second woman was waiting for breakfast to be served. It was 12:30 am. The lone employee did her best to fulfill the women’s requests, such as coffee, restroom access, and contacting the 3rd-floor guest. My wife and I stayed in the lobby with the employee until we could speak with her and make sure she felt safe. We brought our concern to the front desk staff Saturday morning and were told that upper management would be notified. Sunday morning, I took my daughter to her dance competition and witnessed a homeless woman changing her clothes between cars in the hotel parking lot. A short time later, as we were checking out, law enforcement arrived because a homeless woman was sleeping in the hotel stairwell. This property does not have exterior stairs. I would like to be very clear; the hotel staff was great. They were doing the best they could with the resources they had. This is not a reflection on them, at all. My concern was with the safety of my wife, our kids, and our other family members throughout the hotel. My wife and I did not sleep Friday night out of worry that those 2 very drugged-out women were roaming the hallways. These safety issues are extremely concerning. Thank you, Geoffrey Willoughby
