Location and breakfast was GREAT

We checked in late and it was an easy process. The lady working was friendly and polite.
Room was dirty. Mold in shower, no mattress cover or fitted sheet. Window seals were coved in think dust. Ants in bathroom. Room was very dark. Not enough light.

There was a smell around the area we stayed. It was believed to come from the laundry room below us. They did offer to move us but we chose not to. We sprayed and kept the air conditioner going so it kept down the smell.

The bed was comfortable.
I booked a king smoking room. When we checked in, the staff was rude as she told us they didn't have a king room available and none of their rooms are smoking rooms. There was one ice machine working and it took about 7 mins to fill our ice bucket. The facility is in need of updates

This was a decent hotel. It's right next to Louisiana Downs and we were able to watch race horses training. The area wasn't too busy or noisy.
The fact that they could not find my 2nd reservation and it took an hour to check in. We were forced to sleep 4 to one room.

they did not have a room for us. we tried to check in around 2:30, but no rooms were available. went back at 6:30 and they told us we did not have a room. had to find one on our on my way since se booked through booking.com and not directly with them. hesitant to use booking.com any longer due to this.

Grounds in poor shape, grass never mowed this year and flower beds overgrown with tall weeds. Makes people wonder if inside is just as bad as outside. I actually inspected lobby and hallways before I checked in.

The staff was ok & the breakfast was ok.
The room wasn't properly cleaned. We found a dirty sock in the sofa, there was leftover Domino's Pizza in the refrigerator from a previous stay as well as a soda, & juice. There were no linens in the closet for the sofa bed. The chlorine at the pool was so high. The lights above the bed wasn't working. I was really disappointed at the stay.

Our Tv was broken
they dropped our friends room bc they extended guests they weren’t supposed to yesterday morning which messed our reservations up
the guy at the front desk was being mean to the girl he was training, she finally had enough and said she would quit and he said well then go. He was unbelievably unprofessional. I felt embarrassed for the girl he was really awful to her in front of a lot of people.
WE HAVE NO POWER, NO PHONE LINES, NO HOT WATER! My Son is currently taking a cold shower- I can’t even fix my hair this morning for the event I am headed to because I can’t use my tools. can’t put my makeup on in the dark, there won’t be any breakfast downstairs, I cannot make coffee, and we are currently packing up our room by FLASHLIGHT early so we can go find breakfast and maybe I can find somewhere I can fix my hair and do makeup. worst trip ever I am going to demand a partial discount for this absolute S. Show circus.

When I arrived they told me they could not find my reservation and all the rooms were sold out. So as tired as I was I had to get in my car with my sleepy children and find a room with some availability. Terrible experience.

The room was spacious and clean. our room looked into the racing track which was lovely to see the horses practicing.
The pool was closed when we wanted to use it. It was very busy and only one elevator was working. We waited in a line to get to our room.
