Reception desk staff were efficient, cheerful, and professional. Housekeeping was impeccable. Every surface in the bathroom was perfect: no chips, cracks, missing pieces, or discoloration. I still hate all hotels' coffeemakers. Ours was adequate but flimsy, and the coffee in the room was weak. I was tired, but still wound up from the drive. The pillows and mattresses were extraordinarily comfortable; the insomnia at hotels was gone. I slept like a rock and much later than my internal alarm would have gone off. The breakfast in the lobby was excellent. I'm really impressed and will stay here again.

The guy that checked us in was super friendly, patient and helpful. We were traveling with five kids, who all wanted a late night snack when we arrived. He was very helpful and kind. Breakfast was delicious and the staff did an amazing job keeping it stocked and clean. Already booking our next stay here

Waffles were great, the toppings were nice. I would use better sausage, but staff friendly and just really nothing to say bad except buy a little better sauge maybe add some bacon. Lol

The rooms were neat and spacious. It was really quiet. My family enjoyed our stay. I enjoyed the blackout shade. Overall, it was the best night sleep I've had in a hotel in a while.

The breakfast was excellent! The staff was courteous and helpful, always respectful and smiling.
The rooms were a little musty smelling. I recommend you get rid of the rugs and go with hard floors and area rugs. The look is much better, and will keep the rooms and hallways less musty smelling.

Overall everything was fine, the hotel is nice, felt safe as a woman traveling alone, and the room was clean. The breakfast had a good variety even for a gluten free person like myself. The lobby area is comfortable just to sit in. The location is right off the highway.
The bed was as hard as a rock. When I say hard I mean I had to lay the pillows lengthwise and try to sleep on them. For this reason I will not return to this property. Also I needed to stay an extra night (before I realized the issue with the bed) but the price jumped another 40 bucks. The price was a no-go for me since Lake City has an abundance of hotels. The other issue is the road noise from the highway, it’s bad, if you stay here (because you like rock hard beds) try to get a room not facing the highway or bring earplugs. The noise problem is not limited to this hotel, all of them off the highway share this issue in my experience.
