We stay at the Hampton because of the comfort of the rooms, friendliness of the staff and convenience in getting to places we are visiting.

The building is being renovated so outside first impressions were lack luster.

Chef Will excellent breakfast cook..and filled my small cooler with ice and 2 bottles of water...also he was so very pleasant!
Megan at front desk was very accommodating and pleasant.
****Also , I left my computer in my room #415 on my last 3 night stay and I was able to retrieve it --housekeeping had placed it in a safe place and a wonderful front desk person ,..on Aug 1st had it FED-EXed to me. ****I so appreciated this!!!!!

This hotel is our go-to place to stay anytime we're in Hickory, NC. The rooms are always very clean and comfortable, the staff is always courteous and helpful. The property is in a great location, with easy access to pretty much anything you need.

Breakfast staff were beyond kind. Food was great. Room and bathroom very clean. The kids really enjoyed the pool. Grabbing an ice cream downstairs was a perfect ending to our night.

The shower was large and the room was delightful. The free breakfast was awesome honestly the best free breakfast I've ever had.
The bed was hard as a rock and I didn't sleep at all. Our key cards would not let us into the pool so we never got to do that which is what we were looking forward to the most. The exhaust fan did not work in our bathroom.

Chef Will is AWESOME!! The food was excellent, He greeted everyone, he would grab your trash for you. He made everyone smile!!! I was almost sorry that I had to go home.
Nothing that I can think of. As I said above it was worth getting up in the morning to share a meal with others. The pool and the gym were clean and open. The laundry was great plenty of space for everything.
