great location, staff was kind, super friendly, very clean for being right near everything. breakfast was good too!!!

the staff was very helpful and kind. the room was clean and hotel was close to walk to some things, but it was a sketchy area of town at night.

I just didnt feel very safe at night with people near the exits and on the streets lingering. i was also told i could get my IHG points added at checkout by one staff and then told no by another one.

The breakfast was decent, and for the most part the staff were adequate. The room was spacious even though the toilet was wobbly. The channel selection on the tv was good. The location was just what we needed.

We went down to check our bags, and for the most part that went well. When we returned to get our bags, however, is when the problems really started. First, the front desk clerk took over 5 minutes to appear, and there was no other staff visible. When he did appear, he had quite a nasty attitude, which I will overlook if the people do their jobs, everyone has a bad day here and there, but then he only retrieved half our bags before going in to check in a walk-in. Not necessarily a bad thing, but the customer gave him the okay to finish with our bags and he just continued anyway. This delay proved rather damaging, for it set off a chain of events that resulted in us being stranded in Richmond for another night. Once he did get our bags, he didn't just give us ours but another person's entire luggage. We returned it when we noticed it, but such was our rush, plus traveling with two young children, that an extra bag that was identical to some of ours (they were convention swag bags), was mixed in. After missing our train largely due to the front desk clerk, who's name was Michael I believe, we managed to scramble a hotel room when I received a call from the same clerk. He said that he had given us someone else's bag, and made it seem that we willingly walked off with it. I told him that we would love to return the bag, but we couldn't return to the hotel for many reasons, mainly the kids and the fact that we don't drive. Plus, I didn't want to spend more of my own money because he couldn't be bothered to do his job. I told him what hotel we were staying at, and that if the person or a hotel employee were to swing by we'd be happy to return the bag. What happened next was truly shocking and terrifying. When I got the call back from the clerk, he told me that he GAVE MY NAME AND PERSONAL PHONE NUMBER TO A TOTAL STRANGER AND THAT THEY WERE ON THEIR WAY TO THE HOTEL WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!!

The staff were very nice and answered any question we had. It was in a great area right by the venue. The bed was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was nice with different options.

The curtains in our room would not open and we asked for help. They said someone would come and take a look, no one looked. The shower lip wasnt tall enough in the bathroom so water went everywhere. The ceiling in the bathroom had brown spots all over it. And when we arrived we had no trash bags in our room. The floor was also sticky when we arrived.

Very close to VCU in downtown where my daughter is a student.

Breakfast was just ok, same food Saturday and Sunday. Coffee was not that good. TV did not work in our room on Friday night, but someone came to fix it on Saturday so that was much appreciated.

Location was nice..super comfy room and quiet too. Found a cute Thai restaurant for dinner near by...

As I recall the entrance was up a set of steps. I always overpack so lugging a suitcase up steps is not fun ...if there was a better entrance did not see it just for the single night.

This hotel offers a hot breakfast (omelet, sausage, etc.). Other options are also available (fruits, juice, cereals, yogurt, cream cheese, jam, toast, bagels, muffins, etc.). The cinnamon rolls are delicious!

I stayed for three nights, and there was no room cleaning.
