At least the lights were bright enough for us to see at night. Microwave & fridge are ok. The boy at the night window was nice to check us in, not sure if we could check in early though.

Lots of things. Firstly, the driveways at this property is way too small/narrow; the cars barely fit the parking spots, it requires you to have an acute eye when you back out. Then it's my room/bed. There is a fly & a spider crawling on my bed...apparently the maid didn't do a good job at housekeeping. I had to use my insect repellent to dispatch the fly myself but it wasn't that good. Location wise, public transportation is a joke in the OC, you can only expect to walk to your desired location or drive your rental car.

There was small amount of mold in the fridge. The AC was loud for a small room. Bed was good and they had the Dodgers on TV.

The room was clean and had coffee in the room

It has been a challenge to get them to refund the deposit they charged on my card. I contacted Booking customer service and so far all I got credited was half the deposit back. They assured the property said I will receive remaining deposit....nothing so far

Ice machine was broken it took forever to check in. Mattress was uncomfortable and there was only one washcloths for the face and two towels for the body there was no bath mat or extra hand towels. There was no ice bucket in the room and the refrigerator did not work well.

Nice, clean, comfortable and reasonable price.

The facility and room were ok and pretty clean. But there are no laundry facilities. I was informed at check in, in a rather rude manner and without consideration, that they wouldnt take cash, neither for the room nor the deposit. The deposit was too high ($150) for a 2star hotel. There are no snack machines only soda machine. I asked the lady at the counter if she knew where and laundromats were and she responded..no youll have to find them on your own.. At the time of check out there was noone to be found. I waited for 15 minutes and rang both bells several times. Finally, because it seemed they lived on the property, i walked to the house and knocked on the door again several times but noone answered. I began walking back to the front desk when a man came fast walking and yelling at me that im not to knock on the house door and to leave my key in the drop box. First it made me defensive and then angry. I told him because ive had my deposits partly taken that i wanted my room to be inspected to insure i received back my full deposit and paper receipt noting that. Again he yelled at me saying..they dont check the rooms until 30 minutes after we leave and no paper receipts were given. I told him i would wait..but then i realized the situation had already made me late, so i took photos of the room from every angle to document the condition it was left in. I travel 10 months out of the year anf have stayed in every imaginable type and condition of hotel. Some good some bad. I take all in stride as long as the staff is polite and helpful. My experience here made my decision easy to never use a travelodge again. I honestly feel an apology is warranted from the two people working the desk.
