staff is very cooperative. They gave me the room I asked for. Room was very clean and outdoor is well kept

We liked that they had an option of a 2 bedroom suite since we were traveling with another couple and our kids. We both had our own rooms. With some work it could be nice, but it did not quite work out the way we thought.

When I went to check in, there was no one at the front desk. I rang the bell, still no one, so I ended up leaving and driving around for an hour. We went back and the same thing happened. I ended up having to call the motel and they sent someone over. When we went to our room it smelled horrible. It was dirty. The walls were in desperate need of repairs and paint. The bathroom was dirty and very uninviting. We had the 2 bedroom suite, and traveling with another couple we thought that would be great, but the bathroom had two doors that joined the rooms, so you always had to be closing and locking both doors so the other couple didn't come in while you were in there. It was awkward. There were no room darkening curtains and the blinds were broken in places so people could look right in our room. The door could have been easily opened with a credit card and you could literally see daylight through the crack around the door. It was all very disappointing.

Loved the location, near to Shepherd Park and restaurants, however a block from the main attractions in quiet neighborhood setting. All attractions are with in walking distance.

Air conditioning was inadequate for hot weather otherwise room was acceptable for the price.
