The fact that you can access the village by an internal corridor

I was parked on level 3 North and my room was on level 4 North. To access my car upon my departure, I took the elevator down to Lebel 3 and when reaching the door to the garage, you have 3 steps to go down and then one step to go up. Not at all convenient when you have your luggages, bags etc with you. Why not I install some kind of a board partially covering the steps so that we can pull our luggage up or down without having to lift it up. Also, I did not like the lack of transparency of adding room service tips on the bill. This should be made clearer at booking time or upon arrival. And finally, I did not have dinner at your Generation restaurant because the two main entree had the same garniture on the menue: gnocchi but I don’t like gnocchi. And it was also one of the appetizers. I think that a bit more variety in your menue could be welcome.

Third time staying here. One of my favorite places to stay in Lake Placid! Great room. Great view. Pleasant staff!

Parking. There was a bus and also a wedding party. It was difficult to find parking within the garages.

The trip was great! Plan on coming back again. Great view of the lake!

Loved everything nothing to not like

The staff was friendly

The rooms were extremely out dated and did not feel clean. Blood stain on white comforter. Shower took forever to heat up. Our room smelled so bad (like dirty feet and used bathroom), we were only there 2 nights so not worth changing rooms, but we had to leave our balcony door open the entire trip just to air it out. We could stay down the road at the brand new hotel for the same price.

The rooms could use some updating. The AC unit was very loud and the water pressure in the shower was poor

private patio facing beautiful, surprisingly quiet lake. Padding the canoe around Mirror Lake was magical.

Everyone was helpful and friendly. The room was very charming and clean. Lake Placid is very conscientious of COVID and there are several hand sanitizers located everywhere and many fresh towels in the room as well as the bathroom by the front desk. Very green atmosphere! My room was really close to the garage which made getting my baggage so easy. I didn’t hear noise from the garage though. I had a lovely patio by the lakeside beach. Plenty of fun boats and kayaks available for guests if you like!

Lake Placid is far away from home!!
