Everything there was dog poo everywhere smelled bad. The pool had a green ring around it was afraid to get in. There was no breakfast served it said it was included with our stay. There were people living there. Smelled of cigarettes and there were butts everywhere Trashy looking all around the property broken doors Room fridge was dirty had to clean it before we could use it. The beding had stains all over pillows needed to be replace flat as heck. Seemed more like a boarding house than a hotel Nothing luxurious about it at all Was really sad we paid so much money to stay here

Found 5 hairs in bed n stains. Area rug was sobby soaked. Not sure why. Hair in tub. Thick of ice in freezer barley shut fridge door. Wasnt clean properly. I would like my money back

The location and price.

The lobby smelled bad, the room only have one towel and I had to ask for me. Then the employee asked if I was sure there was only one. There were stains on the sheets, tub, and toilet. There were dead bugs on the carpet and dust throughout the whole room. Felt very dirty staying here. Will not recommend and will never stay here again.

The location was excellent - I mean perfect - it was just around the corner from family we were visiting, and there is a beautiful state park w/woods and walking trails - and a large lake right behind the hotel. You can go for a 1 mile walk / job and stop at the large lake / beach for a free swim. The lake is also an water adventure park you can take the kids to (but a bit expensive). The beach though is free if you walk in. The pool at the hotel is nice, but didn't use it because of the lake. Finally - the cost - cheapest hotel around. While not terribly clean, its a room with a TV.

The owners clearly don't care much about maintenance. The 2nd floor stairwell doorknob was broken - it worked, but barely - a major fire danger. The room was not terribly clean - the floor is linoleum and was a bit sticky. The windows don't open, and other fire issue. It is used by traveling workers and families it seems. Not so bad though that I wouldn't return - better than paying twice as much for a "only a bit better" place up the road.

Room looked clean, didn’t feel clean Holes in walls, gap between floor and bottom of door allowed for bugs air and water to come in. Swimming pool cloudy, paint chipping off of inside pool, staff not very friendly, would intentionally walk away from the desk when you walked up-ignoring you, then came back with attitude that I was an inconvenience to them. They had many “residents” that smoked, even tho “No smoking” signs were posted everywhere, including staff members smoking at entryways and outside of rooms with the residents. My room smelled of smoke every time we came back in for the night. (Having a chronic breathing condition-this created many difficulties for me) The deadbolt on the door was broke off, so aside from door lock, I propped up chairs against the doors for added security.

Location was good.

Booked a non-smoking room that stunk of smoke. So bad that my clothes smelled of smoke. No coffee or breakfast services. Room AC controls had no labeling so adjusting was accomplished by trial and error.

Right off the highway.

They didn't have the shuttle to take me to Pine Knob.

After we checked, dropped our stuff off, left for 7 hours, came back to find another person’s property in our room. They offered us another room, but why should we move when we were there first. Then refused to give us a refund, even though we left and drove 2 hours home in the middle of the night.

Great location. Clean.

Outdated. Under repairs, which wasn’t stated anywhere when I booked the room.

dogs stay for free!! The microwave and refrigerator didn’t work but they came right up and fixed it. I will stay there again because DOGS STAY FOR FREE and Lake Orion has an incredible dog park
