Room was cute, quiet, comfortable! Steep flight of stairs to upper rooms . Could be worth the climb if you like balconies. Blue Wing restaurant has great patio and lots of tasty menu choices.

Would have liked a refrigerator in the room.

The hotel and accommodations were beautiful. Really enjoyed the Japanese soaking tub.

We called 1 week in advance to book brunch for 6 at the Blue Wing. We were told the they could accommodate us at 12:30. And nothing earlier. We were in town for a memorial service. On Sunday morning I called the front desk explaining the situation snd asked for a late checkout. I was told no, they don't do late check outs right now. My husband then when to the office and was again told no. It was over 100 and the clerk told my husband we could wait outside for 2 hours until our reservation. He asked if they could clean our room last to give us even a little more time that we wouldn't have to wait so long outside. Again we were told no. There must be some compromise. This is the 5 or 6 time we have stayed here and have stayed 5 nights over the last month. Very disappointed.

Location was great. Right in the middle of Upper Lake

Stairs were very steep and no elevator. My fault. I should have inquired.

One of the most comfortable nights sleep I’ve had in a long while.

We could not get the password for the internet. I left 2 requests and visited the office for it but the office closed at about 7 pm. No one is at the desk ! Was there an emergency or something to shut down the front desk?

My husband and I had an amazing stay at this charming boutique hotel. The lobby and the room are elegantly decorated and each room has an access to the balcony. Our room had a beautiful vintage clawfoot bathtub. The food at Blue Wing, the restaurant next door which is part of the hotel, was delicious and affordable . We will definitely come back.

There is not much to do in Upper Lake. However, if you drive a little farther 15-20 min there are interesting little towns like Kelseyville where you can do wine tasting or like Lakeport where you can rent jet skis or boats.
