Breakfast was hot and delicious. The pool was fantastic, room verrrry comfortable and clean and all of the staff was friendly, including desk clerks, maintenance workers and even the workers that were cleaning. HOWEVER, the general manager was not at the facility and despite multiple calls to her, she was not concerned that we were unable to get in our room.

The general manager, Dana Jackson didn’t come to the facility until the next morning around 6 at which time she unhurriedly went about trying to get the door open but was unsuccessful the first time and had asked my aunt, who just had a pacemaker implanted a week ago, to go up to the room with her for that wasted trip. Dana Jackson was very unfriendly and admitted to my aunt that the key needed to get us back into our room the previous night had been with her bf IN BATON ROUGE. They were unable to put us in another room until MUCH later, not even at the hotel next door. While we waited for 6 hours, I had to lay on the couch in the lobby bc I’d had surgery about 2 hours before we came back to our room. And I watched them turn away numerous people because the clerk had no way to activate room cards. Something the GM should have already taken care of before she left! I honestly don’t know which was worse, Dana Jackson not being worried enough to do whatever it took to get our door open despite the medical emergency, or the fact that bc my aunt couldn’t get to her life-sustaining medications, we had to call an ambulance to take her to the hospital. When the paramedics got to the hotel, her sugar and blood pressure were so high that at first they couldn’t even get a reading. It’s so unfortunate because this is an excellent hotel with a lot of wonderful workers that really care about their customers. But I would NOT recommend you stay here as long as Dana Jackson is still in charge!’

One of the beds was pretty good, the other one however was awful. Not comfortable at all.

Extra linen’s. The staff could only the dirty sheets, there were no clean replacement blankets. The shower and sink would not drain. The staff tried to help as much as possible. Will definitely find another hotel when I stay in this area again. No discount on the payment nor did the day manager try to help with anything.

it was a nice and quiet location off of the interstate, it came with a refrigerator and had tons of places to sit in the room including a couch and a cushioned bench. For the price this king room was booked for, it was fine for one night.

On arrival, we found that the front sliding doors were not working and had to manually be pulled back, elevator needed to be cleaned inside and out pretty bad, the water accent out front needed to be cleaned out as well.. it was so full of algae that it looked a little like grass growing in it at first glance. And the bathroom floors need to be cleaned really well. It is really hard to get the grout clean around those larger tiles.
