One staff person and disorganization of my reservation

the second room I got was clean and quiet. I had a good sleep. The break clerk was friendly and handled my request for a room change with an apology (first room was very smoky).

dirty hallways; outer doors weren’t locked to ensure guest security; the breakfast was awful (apple juice looked like water and tasted like the swimming pool, eggs were tasteless, biscuits hard).

I had accidentally booked a room through a third party and had issues with money coming from the third party to pay for the room and two of the ladies helped me until we got it all figured out super nice super helpful definitely going to stay there again

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, clean and the beds were very comfortable. I liked having a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Easy to get to the main highways, restaurants and shopping. The free breakfast was very much appreciated and well stocked with easy to eat breakfast foods.

The pool was nice but there were some teenagers in there when we went that were obviously loud and jumping in the pool and opening the outside door letting cold air in. There was a family with little kids trying to enjoy the pool and they got frightened by the teens.

The hotel was in a good and easy location to get around to the rest of Quad Cities.

The hotel seemed under staffed. The public areas of the hotel were run down and needed a good thorough cleaning. The rooms were decently clean.

I liked the purple motif. The side chair and table was a nice place to relax. The clerk who checked me in was very kind and patient. She also engaged with each guest that came in.

My room was run down. A portion of the ceiling was hanging down. The furniture was scuffed. The bed was almost too high to get on. I don’t know how a child would get on the bed. There was a small armoire to hang clothes, but most of the space was taken up by an ironing board. I couldn’t get the faucet to the tub to work, and it was dripping. So I left without taking a bath. I said something to the desk clerk about it, and she said you had to pull on the handle. She also said other guests had that issue. If it’s that big of an issue, perhaps there need to be signs in the bathrooms. The breakfast was both disappointing and amusing. There was a hot tray out for meat, but there was none. I tried the pancake machine. While the pancakes were being made, the machine spit out charred pancake batter. Even though the pancakes were freshly made, they were cold when I ate them just a couple of minutes later. The counter and tables were messy. I was going to ask someone for something to clean off my table, but there was no one at the desk.

I thought the fact that the lady was trying to charge 45 dollars for early check in when a room was available. Smh
