Staff were accommodating and welcoming. service throughout the hotel was exceptional.

mattress very uncomfortable and for what I paid … spend some money on good sleep the resort fee wasn’t explained at check in and that’s starting to irk me about hotels apparently it’s in the fine print in the bookings confirmation - like we all read this stuff - should be bold like the taxes and the cancelation - I think it’s a rip off scheme and hold no value to me hotel is overpriced at all levels

for the price, I’ve had better stays at a Marriott. The bathroom sink didn’t drain properly. they use one ply right toilet paper (unacceptable for price of stay). The showers are tiny, and the sheets were pretty tight for a Hotel of this caliber. our room was on the street, and was VERY loud at night. we could hear bums yelling at night. also, one night we got home around midnight and when we drove up to valet, there were 5 valet guys at the counter, but not one saw us. The headlights were on, do not sure how they missed us. When we walked up to their station, one guy apologized, but that too is unacceptable. we stayed at the Waldorf in chicago a couple weekends ago, and for half the price, the service was impeccable.

Location at the beach close to the Pear and Santa Monica Downtown. Beautiful architecture, view from rooms, great service and very good food - grilled Halibut at Coast was phenomenal. Large and nice lobby with complimentary morning coffee and tea, nice quiet pool on the 3rd floor with a great view, good service and the bar. very relaxing.

The location was great and the staff exceptional. We also enjoyed a beautiful dinner and drinks on the deck. All was amazing.

Room, location, the lovely main lounge

Only thing to highlight is as a resident no priority given when I and a guest went for brunch at the weekend. To be fair I didn’t try to book but when arrived was told that if free bar stools we could eat at the bar. Not shutters’ fault but a very aggressive man at the bar was protecting certain seats and was quite rude. However the staff were lovely and made the experience amazing.
