Having a kitchen in the room.

It's 2023, have a elevator installed on the premises. No one wants to walk up that many flights of stairs.

check in was straightforward. AC was cold. Shower pressure was excellent.

Breakfast was non-existent - just a few Kind bars, some hot water, and a few packets of oats. The rooms (at least on floor 1) were dingy and old. Very 1980s.

How clean the room was!!

They had a few nice staff the rooms are clean and spacious

Lots of criminal activity in and around the hotel. I was robbed in the lobby and the front desk lady made me call the police myself. Swat and the police were here twice during the stay and the second time they surrounded the hotel with guns drawn. We were stuck in the fire hall for 45 minutes and I was questioned. The budgetel close by has a lot of addicts and criminal activity so don't walk to the store. the taco bell doesn't open their dining room. They have people talking to themselves in the parking lot.. I would not encourage anyone to stay there UNLESS it's a last resort. They do not ask non guests that walk in off the street to leave. I have CPTSD and it's worse after my stay there. They give you 3 pillows and the blankets are thin and the rooms are hard to regulate temperature

The location was near college we were visiting to watch son’s baseball game. I was not charged for not being able to stay at this facility .

Well we had made the reservation through booking.com and had a confirmation number. When we arrived at the site the outside door was locked and it took three separate times picking up the phone outside for the worker inside to respond. She said they were sold out but unless we had a reservation we would be unable to stay. She could not find a reservation under my name although I had made one and had a confirmation number through Booking.com for this hotel. The employee barely talked and would not respond when I asked her questions. She only said I was working back in the laundry room and that she could not find my reservation. It Was approaching midnight and all the other rooms in Montgomery and surrounding areas were booked at this time. I finally found a room an hour away in Auburn Alabama through no help from this hotel worker. I called booking.com and stayed on the line so they could confirm that I would not be charged for this cancellation beyond my control. my husband said I could never book at this hotel again and thinks it could’ve also been booking.com’s fault
