The staff
The rooms are well below mediocre. While the beach is very nice,They sell you as beach front but what they don’t tell you it’s a 15 min walk down a trail to get to the beach. (NOT BEACHFRONT) .They do offer a tram service but even then it’s inconvenient to get into a golf cart with all your beach stuff (especially with kids). The room had a nice view if you break your neck to left . The actual hotel is kinda of run down . Definitely not worthy of being in Naples. We ate from various restaurants on the property and while they have great ideas on the menu , everything we ordered was extremely bland and didn’t have much flavor .

They have automatic 18 percent tip on everything you buy when you charge it to your room

The amenities at the beach were great but the drinks were pretty gross.
The whole property needs to be updated. We stayed in the villas that were in desperate need of being remodeled.

Why would you put a single woman traveling with 2 yorkies who protect me right next to the elevator? I asked many times to be moved and was not accommodated. Everytime the elevator dinged they protected. I didn’t sleep a wink and tried to leave early but could t or I would had lost my money! The elevators were broke one day so I took the stairs and completely destroyed my knee! I mentioned that to them and all they gave me was $75 off for the fall and room inconvenience. The refrigerator was broke, the toilet ran all day and there was a Pube inside a washcloth! Disgusting! I purposefully asked if dogs were allowed on the. Each and I was told by multiple staffers YES and the answer was really NO. I got fined by a robo cop bc I refused to take no for an answer! My dogs and the beach was the MAIN reason I picked this place

The lobby was pretty, the parking close. There was great food and drinks service at the outdoor bar.
We didn't know how far the beach was therefore, we walked with all of our beach gear. It's about a mile. The downstairs main bar restaurant area had the worst service I've ever had at a resort. The trash piled up outside the elevators overnight, and was still there when we checked out at 11:30. The golf cart service to the beach was slow, and there was not a definitive time of when you could catch the last golf cart. Apparently we got the last ride, and the golf cart limped back to the hotel. It was out of battery. The people that didn't make it on our cart, had to walk back. The rooms are close to $450 per night, and they still have you pay $20 for self parking. The pool had almost every chair filled with a towel, but very few people actually sitting out for most of the day. It must be like a cruise where you have to reserve your pool chair early in the morning for the day.
Very disappointing, especially since we were attending my children's father's memorial service. I wanted to treat them to a very, very nice experience.

the location is good, but a lack of maintenance and also the price compare to what the hotel offers is not a good deal.
bad maintenance, staff no very good, price to high for what is offered. nothing close to old Waldorf Astoria.

Lovely beach and nice facility.
Too much plastic used on pool and especially beach bar. Not very envirement friendly and not sure I would stay there again for that reason.

Beautiful well maintained beach, exceptional food, incredible staff, family friendly environment, comfortable room and bed, short walk or tram ride to the beach.

nothing
staff kept trying to double charge for items and valet wouldn’t leave without his tip. rooms are tiny and disgusting. the staff didn’t even bother to clean the showers and you couldn’t use half of the deck that I paid extra for. crowd was also rowdy. not the stay I was looking for and do not recommend this to anyone looking for an ice experience

The property was very disappointing. This “resort” promotes their location as beachfront. However, the beach is about a 20 minute walk or they provide transportation in a golf cart which is about 5 to 7 minutes. keep in mind, it is challenging if you plan to stay at the beach all day because you must pack everything you need to avoid going back to the hotel in case you forgot something. The wait for the transportation is terrible! Almost 30 to 35 minutes just to get back. They also allow the public to take this transportation so it is NOT exclusive to you as a paying guest. The private beach is also available to the public which defeats the purpose of the property even saying they offer private and exclusive services.
The room was outdated, remote for TV was not working and the sliding door was stuck, making it hard to go in and out to the balcony. The beds are uncomfortable as you feel the springs and the sheets are poor quality. the a\c in the room was not cooling properly. Literally woke up sweating. Mind you, I was 28 weeks pregnant during this stay. Very uncomfortable.
We asked for our room to be cleaned before leaving to the beach. When we returned, the room was still not clean we had no clean towels, and the beds were not made. we had requested for the room to be cleaned and we were very upset. However, nobody showed up within the hour so we had to take a shower with dirty used towels. before we left for dinner. We called and made another inquiry to have the room cleaned and when we return, thankfully it was but it was too little too late. that night we were in the room and it was still so hot so we decided to pack our things since we only had one more night and we went downstairs to the lobby to complain. The manager working that night did not show any type of concern. I had my three-year-old with me and it was about 10:30 PM and they did not offer another room as an option or any compensation for the inconvenience.
Not worth the price.

The staff at the pool side were attentive and friendly.
Beach staff never returned with the included Beach chairs. The hostess at the pelican was dishonest and dismissive

Nice pool and near a beautiful beach.
The building is dated and due to a conference the wait times for the lifts were very long. We had two interconnecting rooms and one of the two rooms wasn’t cleaned by house keeping on 2 out of the 4 nights. The doors between the rooms were always open so there is no reason not to clean both rooms at once. We ran completely out of toilet roll (because this wasn’t refreshed in room 2) and the shower gel was also finished and not refilled in the room that was cleaned. The fridge in the room was so noisy that we had to sleep with earplugs (resolved immediately once we informed staff). Housekeeping also put a queen size bedsheet on the king size bed which kept coming off at the corners at night. Things like room cleaning/toilet roll/shower gel/correct bed sheets should be standard and not requiring a complaint. When we notified reception there was no apology only “we will inform our housekeeping team”. We didn’t see any passion for service and keeping guests happy. When visiting multiple restaurants in old Naples we actually were impressed with service levels and friendliness. A real shame to have missed this at Naples Grande Beach. At $6,000+ for four nights we should be able to expect a better service level.
