The lighting in the room was poor I asked for king room

The bed was very comfortable. Room was clean. Location is good, close to subway station

There were no light switch near the bed, you need to stand up to turn light off. A lot of noise coming from the street and the hallway

The 2nd lobby person , that guy was great energy and the bathrooms were very clean. The area was quiet in the morning / AM.

I asked for room with balcony for my birthday and didn’t get it although she made it seem as if she did it. And then the houses behind have a clear view into the bedrooms. Hardly privacy

everything was clean. check in was efficient and easy. and the room was perfect.

We loved our room was very large compared to Manhattan hotels. The view was awesome

It was not in the city. But I will take this over city hotels next time

We have stayed at the Boro Hotel the last time we had an event in LIC. We were pleased for the most part. The Brussel Sprouts are great.

The shower water wasn’t containable. We had to put extra towels on the floor.

The in-house restaurant is delicious.

I've stayed here many times, but their rates have increased so much, I will not be able to return. When I mentioned to the front desk staff that I had to cut my trip short because their rates had increased by 29% per night, year-over-year, they had no response and did not even acknowledge my past loyalty. Additionally, my room was half the size, yet at the higher rate. Also, when my room was serviced, housekeeping took my soiled towels, but didn't leave replacements. Thus, I had to schlep down to the front desk to fetch my own. All-in-all, this stay was disappointing compared to past ones. I feel like my loyalty to them is no longer valued. I'd prefer to support this family-owned operation rather than a chain, but I can no longer afford it.
