Location was perfect

A clean place to sleep and shower. Location is beautiful and it is beachfront. Staff is friendly. Accommodates two people who don’t expect a resort experience.

Everything about the room felt dated. Furnishings and bedding were old. Outlets on the side tables worked intermittently. The room was very small, and the bathroom was tiny. Water temperature fluctuated in the shower. No bath robes and the comfort of the bath towels could be improved. Almost no in-room amenities, no hot tub, no room service, and no balcony/view. Lack of privacy because of the transom over the door to the hallway (there was an adjoining room). Vacasa sneakily manages this room at the hotel, so we didn’t get housekeeping service either. Absolutely not worth the money, and would have to loved to know this information before being locked into a non refundable reservation.

The view, the beach, the grass area by the beach

Our unit was very dated. Bathrooms and kitchen need to be updated. Things are not working properly ie: bathroom sink, dishwasher.

The advertisement for the rental stated. Spaces: living area, kitchen dining area and the description described all units come with a fully stocked kitchen. The rental was actually a small hotel room with a microwave and a small fridge in the closet

Close to beach, lava fields, sunset and grounds.

First of all this is not anything like the pictures on your website. No ocean view no balcony no kitchen. I put ocean view in my filter search. This is a tiny room with no view, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The noise from the wind and the neighbors was constant. The wind sounded like banging on the wall. I called to try to change rooms even if I had to pay more but was told no availability. I felt scammed and cheated on this booking. I would have definitely gone elsewhere if I had known what this actually was. The room is basically a shared room with keypad lock off of what I thought I was getting. It even shared the same entry. We got room 614b. If you book make sure it is an A room.

We were at Maui Hill for 2 weeks then moving to Mana Kai. I check in 4 days earlier to see if we could check in earlier. Talked to nice girl name sandra. She was going to work with housekeeping and see what she could do since Maui Hill giving us a little later check out. On Sat day of move called and must been her day off and talked with I think devine? She was short and said 3:00 no earlier. Sat at resturant for 2 hours called her more time no budge. Mana Kai people great. Kept some of our food cold for us and gave parking spot. I need room # so went up around 2:00 room was done. She just wouldn't let us in till 3. Next time I'll just call direct.
