I like the location of the property. It made it easy to go to the beach since it was just down the road. I also liked the swing & the fire pit that was outside

When I first arrived at the property I noticed there was a certain smell inside the house (might be because it’s an older house) It was also a little outdated & it gave me a creepy feel with all the older pictures hanging all over the house. Also, the room upstairs with the writing all over the walls didn’t have any glass for the windows. It was just a screen which could be dangerous if you have younger kids.. The kitchen trash also wasn’t taken out prior to us arriving. There was mold in the trash bag!

It was a very spacious & comfortable home.

I washed a pair of white jeans & when done they were Stained with black stuff.

It was spacious on an acre of treed and landscaped land. This was the most well stocked kitchen we have found in many trips to the beach. The house is old but well maintained. There was lots of hot water for showers. It is an historic site. The heat worked well to get rid of the chill in the early morning as several of us were up before 7am.

Lots of limitations added in the final information sent to me the week before the rental. For instance,: 8 person limit instead of 10 that was published when we booked the home (Thank goodness we only had 8). The site said pet friendly but communication that we were bringing a dog got lost somewhere and we were charged after the stay for the dog. Many communications did not seem to reach the manager even though I was responding to email and asking questions daily for the week before the rental. Though we selected the site because it had room to entertain the wedding party the night before the wedding, we were told the day of check in that we could not entertain any more than the 10 that the site was approved for overnight. We did entertain the 15 people in the immediate family any way as planned. We had to drive to the hotel and pick them up so that there were never more than 5 cars in the driveway at one time. And we had to stay inside so as not to call attention the fact that we had more than 10 people on site at once.

This is a wonderful property. built in the 1890"S. The house was beautifully maintained. Very clean. We had a wonderful time.
