Love the location
Very uncomfortable bed, pillows, and couches/chairs. Shower is okay if you’re under 5’6”.

Great location, roomy enough
Door on bathroom is a joke, bathroom sink barely drains. The kitchen needs at least one decent frying pan. Other kitchen items were fine.

The location is very good.
Musty smell, only 1 fork, bad mattress, garage-sale furnishings, poor water heater, “landscaping” was full of weeds, and when I contacted Vacasa about the lack of forks, she said “Well, there are only supposed to be 2 people staying there.” ?!

Description of property was misleading. We went to the wrong building based on the pictures we had and could not get in. We called Vacasa (which is not local to resolve the issue) Cell service is spotty and we lost the calls a #of times. We finally got in but to a different cottage than we thought we were getting.
The window blinds were difficult to use and the windows and sills were really dirty. There was only 1 tall drinking glass and 1 juice glass and two small other glasses. There was no sharp knife available for use when cooking dinner. Had to go to the store and buy one the next day.

The view was amazing. The price was steep but I think all prices are steep right now. $822.00 for 2 nights, including taxes & cleaning deposit. I think $500.00 would be more reasonable.

The kitchen had most everything we needed to cook meals. Everything was nice and spacious we enjoyed the convenient location too.

Home was clean, nice view, fully equipped kitchen.
Late check in time (4pm - most places are 3pm). Early check out at 10am (again, most places are 11am or noon).
For the price, that should change. Huge cleaning charge ($155.00), plus more in taxes and other local fees, almost doubled price of stay to over $800 for 2 nights (original price was $492. Great locale, older home, close to town. For the price and value though, I wouldn't stay there again.

Peaceful stay- all the amenities you need for a full dinner, Ocean View, Walker to town and back everyday ( 3 night stay), walked to iconic Mendocino coast( saw Harbor seal-played with harbor seal- saw many species of aviary!!!!
Sat out on porch, had coffee and wine in afternoon... saw one of our most Spectacular Sunsets of our lives!!!!
Comfy bed, heater worked well, windows open also supplied Fresh Mendocino air-Great coolness throughout the home!!

Highly recommended- can’t wait to revisit in 2-3 years!!
