Love the apartment so close to the sea and swimming pool! Apartment so cosy we have booked it again with a sea view for Oct it was that great!

That we were charged €40 as we arrived on a late flight! No water or welcome pack and everywhere was closed so we had to boil the water. No view only a white wall. No reception area for our apartment.

The location is fantastic. 30 seconds walk and you're on the beach. Little supermarket, cafe and some restaurants / bars all on the doorstep of the hotel entrance. The main party strip is 10 mins walk up the steep hill, but at least you come down when it's time for bed. We used Uber to visit old town and it cost less than 5 euros and took approximately 15 mins to get there. The room was spacious, clean and had all we needed for 4 adults to share for 4 nights. I've seen some previous comments about towels not being changed. There's a washing machine we chucked them in there and hung out on the balcony.

It's a real shame there isn't a pool bar, but we just took it in turns to walk to shop and get refreshments.

Location was ideal and the apartment was just perfect for what we needed traveling with a 10 month old! Maria Jose met us with the keys on the first night and she was so lovely!

It wasn’t cleaned during our 6 night stay and it would have been nice to get new towels and bins removed.

Expensive for what we got

You are just seconds away from the beach Praia da Oura. Wake up every morning with the beautiful ocean view. We used the pool a few days and it was great, you get the breeze from the ocean. Lots of restaurant options within minutes. PET FRIENDLY, our chihuahua loved her stay too. The AC is brilliant, especially to cool you down after being outside in the sun all day.

There's no drink/food service at the pool area.

Everything was close by and easy to get to. Amazing friendly and helpful staff.

Very good location, sympathetic and approachable hosts, good pool. Fantastic restaurants and beach within walking distance. Pet friendly, our small dog was welcome.

The location and the price.

The apartment we stayed in was privately owned so the reception of the accommodation wanted nothing to do with us when we just wanted some toilet paper which wasn’t ideal. There were a few issues with our apartment. The shower head wasn’t attached to the wall so we had to hold it in order to wash, and there was a rusty nail sticking directly out of the wall which was a bit dangerous. The balcony sliding door would not lock which didn’t feel very safe. The air conditioning system did not work and was stuck on 24 degrees constantly; the remote did nothing. The TV didn’t seem to have any channels connected and just displayed a blank screen.

Flight was delayed by 2hrs, but someone was there to meet us when we arrived at the property. The location was superb! the idyllic beach was 20 metres from the entrance.

We were there for 10 days, but we were not offered a change of sheets or towels.
