The staff managed to resolve my booking desrepancies, though it caused frustration at the beginning.
The entry for a visitor was for one, instead of two. This created delays (45 minutes) for our final check-in including serving of Supper & breakfast.

There clean linen, soup and tea.
Visitors should be warned about the loud noise from the Tarver opposite the hotel. These was no hot water in the morning I was leaving and the hot water tap in the bath tub didn't work, so I had to take a cold shower.

The bed was firm and things looked clean
Very strong damp smell and unacceptable shower arrangement. One stands in a narrow bath and the head was leaking copiously and the water splashed onto the floor in large quantities.

The breakfast is really great, the room was exceptional and the location is very central. The Masa Square provides a wide selection of restaurants to choose from. The food is really exceptional.
On my first day there were no towels in the room, so on my second day this was not resolved yet and I only realised that after exiting the shower. This was however rectified during the day.

There is a night club with blaring loud music into the early hours, which kept us awake. We asked for ice and champagne glasses and where told there was nothing available as they where catering for another function. A really bad experience. Ruined out night completely.

The restaurants around were very very noisy and were the only options available for lunch and dinner within the hotel premises. Like deliberately extra loud music which is really bad,

Smell of smoke (something burning) at night, dim lights in the lobby and lobby atmosphere. Blocks for sitting are not comfortable. It is better to have chairs. The restaurants do no have food (for dinner), i.e. carb free and sugar free that suits diabetic people

The location was good for me. The hotel is very attractive and has a warm feel to it.

The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. We liked it.

Hotel window was broken and i was stuck in an elevator for 28 minutes.

The staff was kind and very helpful when it came to check in, check out and additional requests.
The breakfast was very basic with minimal options to choose from. The network for a business hotel is bad, there are too amny times I could not have an online call, kept being kicked out.

Breakfast was the same everyday. Oh and their room service food is awful and sometimes they don't pick the phone when you call to make an order.
The facilities are tired and dated. They need to upgrade to uphold Protea standard. For the money paid, it's daylight robbery. The rooms do not have an iron and ironing board need to call housekeeping. The shower and bath combination looks cheap and is actually uncomfortable. Some critical design flaws that makes one wonder what the owners were thinking...
