The location is ideal to visit Monet's Gardens and house. The hotels full of character and the staff exceptionally helpful.
The quirky (very low and subtle) lighting in the bathroom.

Location
Tiny room, low beams, staff very formal (kept asking us we were guests!), lighting in room very low/dim, especially in bathroom, not clean the under bed, very dusty.

We were pleasantly surprised with the location. Beautiful green hills in the background and from the bedroom window views. There was a lovely bath too!

The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant especially the young woman on reception on Tuesday morning . We had a problem with our first room and it was dealt with perfectly .
We arrived at Vernon at early evening and there was no transport available , which was quite disconcerting . I tried to ring the hotel but there was no answer . The owner of the bar opposite the station was very helpful but he was unable to get any help for us . Eventually a very kind person gave us a lift to the hotel

The location is ideal! we had an excellent breakfast and dinner in the hotel as well.
There were a few flies in our room and in the dining room that were bothersome but not a deal breaker.

Congenial host and staff.
Very well located for sightseeing.
Working the electronics in the room was difficult to figure out.
Meals were very gourmet and expensive, yet didn't seem that tasty.

The location was fantastic for the Monet Gardens. Private secure parking was a great benefit. The setting was beautiful. The room was excellent quality, beautifully decorated and well equipped, a little on the small side. The breakfast was excellent with a lovely range of bread pastries cheese and charcuterie. Boiled eggs were freshly done to order.
Our stay unfortunately was tainted by a poor experience in the restaurant during our first evening. The food quality was very high albeit on the pricey side. The young staff were very personal. But on this evening something went awry. 20 minutes to take our orders. 40 to get one first course and 80 to get our main course. Other tables seemed to be getting better service. Such a shame.

Being that this hotel is an hour away from the airport and just steps away from Monet's garden/home made it a natural choice to begin our holiday and we were not disappointed. Our room was impressive...tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean...better yet it was ready early (extremely helpful as we had just finished a 10 hour flight). We found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating.
We found our room to be a bit noisy...but that was to be expected as it was at the front of the building and being that it was a Saturday evening, the restaurant was busy.

Ideal location for Monets house & jardin which is only a few minutes walk away!

If you have lots of luggage it’s a bit tricky taking from the car to the hotel

Evening meal was excellent. We were fortunate to be able to eat out on the terrace, with lovely view across local fields.
Hotel is well situated in Giverney.

location is great and building is pretty
The attitude of two members of staff - particularly the woman maitre d’ who was rude, dismissive, and arrogant. Also - the food was unfortunately not quite as good as it pretended. We all of us did not enjoy the desserts and sent them back but were still charged for them..! They also decided to charge 70c for a slice of lemon in my tonic..! And when we queried it we were - rudely and with attitude by the same maitre d’ - told that it was because we had asked for it.!! In all fairness part of the reason we couldn’t eat them was because we were plagued with wasps for the entirety of our dinner - we had two or three at a time on our desert plates. We had been moved from our original more central table - with a very peremptory “votre place est là” pointing at - as it turned out the table by the trees and bushes. The table we had originally preferred remained empty for the duration of our dinner. In the end myself and my daughter became pretty distressed because 90 minutes of wasps is sort of as much as you can stand. The waiter was sweet but his superiors dismissive. When I complained about the rudeness the next morning no apology was forthcoming - in fact they decided it was all our fault for becoming distressed which they described as rude..! The chef then appeared and they ganged up on me in reception and told me to leave. As I used to train people on two continents in Customer Service you can imagine my surprise..!! 😂 Oh dear. All in all very disappointing. 😒

Location was good. Breakfast was adequate.
The room at the top of hotel had no windows just skylights. During the recent heatwave the heat was unbearable. One ineffective fan provided. On our last evening we could not use the patio or garden as these were reserved for an event. We had nowhere to go although we were guests.

My husband and I were warmly welcomed to La Musardiere by Michael and that was the start of a most enjoyable stay. We were there to visit Monet's house and garden and they were only a few minutes walk from the hotel. All of the staff we met were courteous, friendly and engaging. There were multiple nationalities employed which made for some interesting conversations. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in, so much so that we asked for the name of the manufacturer. Dinner and breakfast were delicious.
As we had zero complaints, the only thing that could have been better would have been to stay another night.

Great location. Vey nice room but no AC so was very warm when it’s hot. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we had one of our best meals in France at the restaurant.

I love this hotel in general and have stayed a number of times. However, I heard a lot of noise from footsteps above me and heard voices from the lounge below so it does not seem to have been soundproofed during the renovation. Barhroom had minimal space for personal items and there were no towel racks or hooks though there was an empty wall where some could be. Also the hotel was closed Tuesday on my check out date but I had not been informed at time of booking. I might have looked elsewhere since I booked awhile ago because I planned to at least leave my luggage there until going to train which was later and they were unable to accommodate. I was stuck with my bags which was very inconvenient.
I think anyone booking Monday night should be informed of the hotel closure on Tuesday.

The location of the hotel could not be better. It was walking distance to Monet's Home and Garden. The Restaurant was very good with an interesting menu. Breakfast was excellent.
There were no stairs, so it was difficult for me to get around. The rooms were quite small, but clean and modern.
