We called to ask if we could do the checking at 13:00 - 13:30, it was denied because they needed that time to clean. We arrived at 14:00, the room was dirty: floor window, bathroom. The bed sheets had stains on it, the bathroom curtain was also dirty and had stain. The room we booked was DELUXE... only on name. The AC worked, but all the cooling remained downstairs and not upstairs were the bed was. The upstair bed was horrible you can feel the cushion in your back. The downstairs bed was a small chair that can be open, hence an adult can't sleep there, only small children. The plumbing is defect. An awful smell from sewerage. The toilet brush was super dirty.... TV is a small monitor, maybe 13", only downstairs Can hear everything through the walls, the main door is old, loose and again can hear everything in the hallway. These type of things that counts, within pandemic or not. Can't say much about the host, as besides hello & good morning, we did not exchange any sort of dialogs. I am not sure if the good review we saw before booking is just a sign of bad luck towards us, or if it was a request from host to his friends to book>and provide a good review.... but within all the dirt and the expensive room being on the 3rd floor, with tiny steps as there was no elevator.. our experience was horrible. Whenever is written: you pay for what you get, please take into consideration that a small and modest house, don't need to be dirty and defect. We knew it wasn't a hotel with pool, jacuzzi, ping pong table...etc.. all our complain is strict to cleaning and facility (plumbing, good doors, clean sheets..)

Staff super responsive, welcoming, motivated to help with guest issues. Restaurant hours limited but a good Italian restaurant is located a short distance on foot.

It was absolutely quiet. Perfect for a good night sleep.

It's very far from everything in the city. And although the room was clean, it smelled damp and a bit unwelcomimg.
