The house is spacious and well equipped. The location is handy but tricky to find if you are using Apple Maps, it continuously loses its place. Google maps seems to work better.

Check in meant to be between 6pm & 8pm, which is already restrictive. I was told tersely via email when confirming it had to be between 6 snd 7. This meant I had to abandon my stopover plan in Pisa. I was late as there was a breakdown on the road, then GPS made me miss the correct turn. I arrived 7:20. Lady was pleasant on my arrival. Next morning I washed by hand some underwear and put into the washing machine to spin dry it to make air drying easier. I came back around 11pm that night with the cycle finished but door wouldn’t open. As it was late, I only redid a drain cycle to see if it would reset things. Once again, cycle finished and door lock light was off. I did not want to force the door open. Sent the lady a message. Next morning. I sent another message folllowed by a call as I was checking out. Eventually I got a very terse few messages asking me what all that noise was, that the people before me had used the machine, that I had wasted so much water trying to use the machine, which I didn’t, that I should have asked her how to use the machine if I did know how, and that she was going to report me to Booking.com for breaking the machine. She gave me a couple of suggestions. She said I probably forced the handle too hard and maybe broke it too. Not quite the response I was expecting. I knew that there wasn’t much she could do, but was expecting that she would say she’d have someone look into it later. I have done a lot of traveling and stayed in many places but have never encountered anyone so rude and demeaning to deal with. The next day she ran a full cycle and door opened and she asked me what to do with my stuff, great. The other thing to watch out for is if you close the door and forget the keys inside, you will be stuffed. Good luck getting the delightful hostess to help you out! Shame, as I don’t think she owns the property, but cleans and manages it. I would avoid! So many other places would value your business more. Horrible person to deal...

economical. friendly host

location. not adequate for those without a car. everything in the house was a bit run down. Shower was broken. Couch was broken. Did not seem reasonable to make us walk two blocks to dispose of the trash. No bus service after 9 pm.

i liked the security of the property. it had a drive if we brought our car that would of been helpful. it is a 20 minute walk to the train station (the trains don’t run very frequently though) and the property suited the needs of our trip very well.

Everything was great! Kitchen, Equipment,bathroom, sleepingroom, protection from mosquitos, very friendly and professional owner who speaks English very well, good communication, reservated place to leave the car outside the domain beside the street- it did fit for my Skoda Octavia...the house is few minutes away from the city center but in a quiet area. I would enjoy to stay there any time!

The host is really nice, we even got lemons from his own lemon tree and a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. The apartment is clean and there is enough space. Everything you need is already there (towl, soap, dishes, salt etc). The apartment is located near the train station La Spezia Migliarina, one station away from la spezia centrale.

Great host, good location, good kitchen equipment and decent internet connection. Great place to stay.
