El apartamento muy limpio y bien situado para moverte . Los dueños super amable, tuvimos un problema de última hora y gracias a que nos cambiaron la fecha pudimos disfrutar de vacaciones. Extremadura es espectacular.

1. Swimming pool looks really nice (it has even place with grill). It's good to know that it's 150m from the house 2. Localisation almost in the National Park 3. Quiet yet not "abandoned" town with few groceries and restaurants 4. Caring hostess and well-equiped appartment with all amenities (we lack of electric kettle but probably it's just not a standard in Spain) 5. Two AC units so you can control temperature entirely 6. Good wi-fi

1. Bed (in one bedroom appartment on the 2nd floor) is not acceptable and should be replaced immediately (as previous guests mention) - it is very narrow and has extremely soft mattress causing back pain and not allowing for a comfortable sleep. The same applies to the sofa and chairs but of course it's not that crutial. 2. no pillowcases for sheets - I know it's common in Spain, but very unhygienic. 3. very acoustic building - you can hear conversations around the clock, slamming doors, moving furniture, bathing, etc. 4. It's not appartment's fault but the taste of the water is awful To be honest the case with mattress was was so annoying that apart from everything else (quite good) in the appartment we should left much worse final evaluation score.

We stuck a pin in a map to book accommodation in Monfrague and we hit really lucky. A lovely apartment in a lovely village. Everyone we met made us feel so welcome, I speak a bit of Spanish and the locals were really supportive letting me practice and helping me out. A really comfortable apartment with everything you would want. There is a pool that guests have access to about 200m up the road which is clean and well maintained, a welcome addition on a hot day. Would I book this apartment again? A solid yes. The most comfy bed we had in a 4 week motorcycle trip through France and around Spain.

Free beer in the fridge?? Only joking - I can't think of anything I would change.

The location next to the Monfrague park is excellent for people who like hiking etc. The hosts were very nice and friendly. The apartment was perfectly fine with just what you would expect plus a bottle of milk and water and some coffee and buscuits which is a nice touch. There is a nice restaurant just 50m from the apartment. We were there in middle of July in a heatwave so it was a pretty hot place to be so the swimming pool was very appreciated.

There is not much in the town, it is quite quiet and small so really a location for exploring the outdoors. Maybe bring plenty of food with you. The beds are a little firm but depends on your preference.

Closeness to the national park and the excellent information the host gave us about the park and the route and things to see along the way.

Very nice host, perfectly clean house. Basic products like coffee and milk were already in the apartment. Restaurants around the corner but also a well equipped kitchen to prepare your own meal.

The pool wasn't on the property, and because we couldn't understand what the lady was saying regarding getting to it we didn't bother. Maybe a little map or written directions would be a good idea.

It was clean. Shops were close at home. Our destinations in Monfrague were also close at hand.

Nothing.
