We recently stayed at this accommodation, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is peaceful and quiet, offering a perfect retreat, exactly what we were looking for. The penthouse is very spacious, with a large living room, a huge balcony, and an upstairs room with stunning panoramic views. The terrace was also a highlight, providing an ideal spot to watch the sunset or to stay up late and watch the Perseids under the starry sky.
A big plus are the balcony windows from the first floor that are fully opening, which seamlessly integrate the kitchen and terrace into an open-space experience.
There is only one bathroom shared between two bedrooms, which can be a bit inconvenient, but it’s manageable.
While the access road is currently under construction, it’s still drivable, and the section being worked on is quite short. You can reach the beach on foot in about 20 minutes at a brisk pace, but be prepared for an uphill walk on the way back. Alternatively, you can easily drive to the beach and park nearby, making access very convenient.
There are a few restaurants close to the beach, but during the peak season, reservations are recommended as there aren’t many options in the area. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will happily return in the coming years.
It’s also worth noting that a new complex is being built next door by the same developer, which will include a pool also.

Calithea Complex has a great location, with exceptional views. The studio was very clean and modern. The bed was comfortable. There WiFi was strong.
Not much to say on the negative side except that besides the plates there could've been more kitchenware (there was no cutlery and only a couple of large pans).

Beautiful location, the apartment complex is situated just on a high cliff above the see and allows breathtaking views of the see and Kavarna fishing harbor. Large spaces inside, terraces and windows. A lot of available and free amenities, bicycles for all ages, playground. Very close to Romanian border. A car is mandatory to reach this spot and to visit Balcik and surroundings.

The location and the hotel are exceptional ; to have the feeling that you are on top of the sea and be able to see the sunrise and the sunset from the same apartment is amazing ! I totally recommend the DeLux Apartment ; it is really worth it without any doubt ! This place is amazing with all the views, facilities and comfort that we needed for a romantic vacation !
The pillows could have been better.

The view is breathtaking, very close to the beach and restaurants. The place looks exactly as in the pictures. Apartment equipped with everything (including oven and laundry washing machine). The beach located immediately under the cliff where the hotel sits is really nice - it’s in a bay with clear water, fine sand and the children can play safe near the water as it not deep at all near the shore.
The couch is not very comfortable for sleeping but this is generally the case for all places we have stayed so far.

The view in the ground floor apartment was amazing. We could relax on the terrace and sink in the view. The rooms were clean, and the staff was very nice, they helped a lot when we wanted to upgrade from a studio to an apartment. I will choose this place next time as well!
The toilet was leaking, should be checked.

Calithea is my home away from home, a dream-location which delivers an exceptional customer experience. If I didn't want the young, gifted and special family that owns the place to have the tremendous succes that they deserve, I would almost want to keep their villa a secret, not to have it spoiled by unappreciating visitors.
Not one single thing to hold against them. Just perfect.

The view is amaizing! The apartment is nice, clean and has all you need for your stay.
We stayed in the apartment 17, on 5th floor and the terrace was hugh with spectacular view.
The kitchen hood from the other apartment, was coming out on our terrace and we had to endure the smell of food coming from the neighbors.

The apartment was spacious, well furnished and had everything needed to stay there for longer. The view from the balcony was to die for! The staff was very friendly and understanding.
There was also a playground and bicycles to use (if you're staying with kids).
The only thing that bothered us during our stay was that you could really hear the neighbors upstairs. So wish for quiet neighbors or book something at the top.

The view is absolutely spectacular! The apartment is very large, has AC and wi-fi and again, the view is amazing!
Kitchen is very well equipped - stove, microwave oven, refrigerator, toaster, coffee machine (filters, coffee and sugar were waiting for us, didn't have to buy them). It is possible to borrow bicycles free of charge.
The extendable sofa in the living room is not very comfortable to sleep in (we were a party of 6, so we had to use the sofa as well).

Large apartment.
Excellent shower, powerful. Probably the best shower in a hotel that I have stayed in.
Terrace area was great. Very comfortable and felt luxurious.
Apartment was clean and tidy.
The caretaker of the apartment was very friendly and did a great job.

The bed was atrocious. Very uncomfortable. Cheap mattress's, you could feel every bit of wood underneath you. This has to be the worst bed I have ever slept in. Really spoilt the stay.
Again the sofa was very uncomfortable. You had to make sure that you sat in between the wood underneath. One of our party had to use this to sleep on and they said it was a bad nights sleep because you can feel the wood underneath.
Bathroom was tiny, certainly useable, but very small. Same for the bedroom, very small. Because the room is so small the wardrobe is awkward to get to and can only open one door fully. Hanging space was short, my tops were dragging on the shelf below.
Advertising said there was a washing machine, but there wasn't one.

The amazing view!!! It was all perfect - the service, the cleanliness, the facilities, the size of the rooms! Private parking and easily accessible by car. This is one of the most beautiful places I have seen at our seaside.
