Esistono pochi posti come questo! Nonostante le camere siano un po’ old style, l’hotel è pulitissimo, dotato di tutti i comfort e di una bellissima vista mare. Il personale è disponibile, gentile ed accogliente e la posizione è invidiabile! Una baia bellissima, con acqua limpida e una pace assoluta (noi ci siamo stati ad agosto, di giovedì). Grazie ancora di tutto, torneremo sicuramente!

A wonderful location, directly at the sea. The water is crystal clear. There is an opportunity to have a fresh and tasty lunch.

Everything was good. the place is amazing, the beach is perfect, the safeguard is so kind and friendly. We liked the rooms, balcony and place around the hotel.

We didn’t feel comfortable for three reasons: - there was no hot water until staff fixed something after we complained - doors can be opened from the outside, which is not fun at all - there was one guard who was literally eavesdropping by standing at our door with his head on the door in the middle of the night. So it was pretty creepy and not comfortable at all

The location of Illicini is ideal to enjoy the sea and to visit nearby towns. There are two beaches just below the facilities, with fine black gravel or coarse sand and rocks. The water was very clean as well s the beaches, which are also very private and surrounded by cliffs and vegetation. One was in fact not used by anybody. The Black beach is much larger and also easily reachable on foot. Great place for swimming and snorkeling. There is a nice swimming pool but we did not use it. The place is well kept, with trees, plants and flowers. The breakfast (included) was excellent, served on the terrace overlooking the sea, and also the lunch menu had some delicious choices. For dinner one can easily drive in a few minutes to Porto di Maratea, or to Maratea up on the hill, both worth a visit.

Nothing really: as a place which is meant for living in the open air, it was great.

This place is the best for a quiet vacation, for relax. You will not be disturbed by any niuse. The beach is with black stones. For swimming you need go into the depth of sea min 10 m. If you want nightlife you must choose somewhere another city, because all Maratea is a very quiet place.
