Staff were so amazing and helpful . Food was delicious .
Our room was stunning but could be noisy if hotel is full as it is right next to the outside dining area.

Last minute booking. Excellent service. Great dinner & breakfast. Comfortable room. Wonderful ambience.
Room 2 was rather dark.

An oasis along R60. staff were very well trained. the room was exactly as pictured. the restaurant was the highlight of our stay, excellent.
The towels were old didn't launder well. Massive problem with all the drains loo sinks and shower backing up. Very unpleasant a real problem that does need dealing with asap. When dirty water backs up through the drain in the shower it is not good.

Good facilities,lovely gardens and decor
One or two minor niggles with weird lighting system and awkward wooden doors to pool and some communication issues

All of it
The dinner/ lunch menu definitely not the same quality of few years back.
The loadshedding backup must be sorted out, not what you expect from that level of hotel

The location is not exactly the best, but the place is absolutely beautiful. The food is great, the staff are friendly and the rooms are spotless.

Top notch hotel room in terms of design and furnishings. A mix of style and comfort with little surprises in the smallest details. Dinner and breakfast options and presentation exquisite. A bonus was that the car had been washed upon check out.
Signage at parking area in the back street can be improved.

We stay here in 2022 and it was probably one of the best boutique hotels we had ever stayed in and recommend it to so many people, all of whom thanked us for the recommendation.
We there again in Feb 2023 and sensed a slip in standards. Still the most beautiful location and loved our room but the food which was one the highlights last was not of the same standard. The menu was similar but the portions big and clumsy and all finesse had gone. The staff although charming and helpful were all new and totally out of their depth for what this wonderful place use to deliver.

Bespoke. Classy. Understated. Tastefully decorated. Fine cuisine. Breakfast made to order was a royal treat. Cocktails at the EM Bar were wicked and fun. The restaurant choice and food offered is top rate and way above average - fine dining without being stiff. Better than most 4 and 5 star hotels. Garden and pool setting is tranquil and a good place to relax. Complimentary mini bar above average offering. Secure venue. Cannot wait to return. Not a place for revelers wanting a buzz and hype.
That we could not stay another day or two due to other arrangements.

We would highly recommend this hotel, the menu and presentation of the food was excellent. We stayed at the hotel on two separate occasions and both rooms were unique and highly maintained. The staff were very happy to help and made our stay most memorable.
Our only slightly negative feeling was that Robertson is a town you would only want to visit once.

The pool was great for swimming lengths.
The menu was poor with few choices and didn't alter from night to night. So we had to eat out.

the staff were wonderfully kind and helpful. The layout of the bedroom and bathroom and patio at the poolside rooms was really clever
breakfast was lovely but a little slow on a couple of occasions.

Excellent staff. Superb dinner.
Requested a quiet room and was put in room 2 directly alongside the reception desk and kitchen so rather noisy ...

Absolutely everything: We arrived in the most beautiful oasis of calm in Robertson - the place is breathtakingly laid out with huge rooms overlooking small swimming pools and patios, attention is the best we've ever had and the food is delicious. There is a wine tasting room, a cozy bar, and several verandahs to relax in and look at yet another beautiful part of the gardens. Almost a shame we cannot keep it our secret ! Probably the loveliest hotel we have stayed in the world, honestly!

Location and turn down service staff.
Not the same experience as when we stayed in April 2022. Attention to detail no longer in place and don’t justify the rate charge. All extras stripped out! this was part of the treat of staying here.

Beautifully curated hotel in rural town setting. Pool. Garden design.
Aircons blast straight onto bed making it impossible to sleep comfortably.
