Simply splendid. Our group of nine, including a small child, baby, grandparents and parents, thoroughly enjoyed our time at Caso do Mar. The villa is immaculate, well equipped, tastefully decorated, extremely comfortable and secure, and offers the best views and beach access in town. You are a stones throw from the promenade and restaurants, and the town boasts some incredible hikes! You’ll feel like royalty staying at the villa- between the lovely pool, manicured exquisite gardens, an abundance of palatial places to play and relax, it’s a little slice of paradise. Susannah was so lovely to work with while planning our stay, Will was a joy to intreract with once at the villa, and Anna- the main house cleaner was so sweet. We highly recommend this villa if you want a no stress, unforgettable, very special holiday vacation in Luz with a group!

Hands down an amazing experience from beginning to end. Will and his team went above and beyond to make our stay as convenient and hassle free as possible- always in reach in case of questions or guidance operating for example appliances. Location, view and beach access are unbeatable. Definitely planing for a repeat!

We had a really enjoyable week at Caso do Mar. The location is second to none, you literally step from the lovely garden on to the beach and a it is only a short walk to the town and restaurants. You can also go for walks up the cliffs just behind the house. The house is spacious and comfortable with plenty of space for everyone indoors and out.. Kitchen has all that you need and beds are comfortable. Pool is a good size and warmer than the sea! Will is very helpful if you have any problems. Thoroughly recommend!

I cannot think of a better place than this for a family vacation. Our group ranged in age from 2-68 and everyone found the stay great. Having 2+ acres of yard to play in and a pool did the trick for the younger family members. The 30-40 crowd really enjoyed the restaurants and shops in Luz, only steps away. My wife and I enjoyed just hanging out at the house with the breath taking view. And everyone loved being able to step from "our" yard onto the beach. It was a magical experience. Property maintenance and cleaning were executed flawlessly by the staff, who genuinely care about the house. With 4 grandchildren, daily housekeeping was a must. Minor problems were addressed quickly and we had no major problems. We are already making plans to come again for our daughter's 40th birthday in 2 years. See you soon William and Susannah. Wow! We cannot imagine a better European beach holiday, and the house was a the highlight and hub for our activities. The house has character, pizazz, history, and charm. And it is private, too. I had to pinch myself daily as I sat in the patio and gazed into the ocean. This house was a treat! The house managers were wonderful. We were blessed to be there.

Fabulous location. Right on the beach. Great space and amenities with heated pool. Willliam, our host could not have been friendlier or more helpful. He lives adjacent and is on hand for any problems and contact via text. I would highly recommend the villa and would certainly book again.

This is an incredibly unique property. It’s quite special that the family rent it out. It’s a historic property with breathtaking gardens leading onto the beach whilst only steps from fabulous restaurants and bars. The coastal path is easy to access, so a morning walk or jog followed by coffee in one of the cafes is just perfect. The house is quirky, very special and a unique property. It is also huge!!!!! The beds are super comfortable......it was our first visit to Portugal and I think we have been very spoilt by the location and Villa. The owners were super helpful every step of the way, even doing some pre arrival shopping for us.

Wonderful location with outstanding sea views. We really enjoyed our time in Luz - it is a beautiful Portuguese village. Lots of small bars and restaurants. The villa is very private with direct access on to the beautiful sandy beach. We hired a car and visited most villages along the algarve including the west coast beaches for a little bit of body boarding! We had a fabulous holiday and would highly recommend the villa and staff. We will definitely be back!

Perfect stay with breathtaking views!

We stayed at Casa do Mar in early May to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. The house is great and was perfect for our big family of 6 adults and 8 kids, but it is the location that makes it so unique and unforgettable! The house is perfectly equipped and there's more than enough space for everyone, even for a big group as ours. We especially loved the indoor fire place and outdoor areas; the view is spectacular and the direct beach access makes it unique. The children couldn't get enough of the heated pool and the lounge areas were the adult favourites. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back may we return to the area!

Great beachfront villa. We were a family of 8 adults and a 2 year old. The villa has 3 master suites with ensuite. 3 other bedrooms and 2 additional bathrooms. Very large inside and out. More than enough room for sun and shade outside. 2 living rooms, dining, very good kitchen, laundry. But the location is the deal maker! Great pool, grassy area. Steps to the beach and the lovely town of Luz. Many many restaurtants, 2 good supermarkets. We did go into the Lagos for groceries one day, but it isn't necessary. Luba, the housekeeper, makes sure everything is spotless and in working order. A pool shed had all the beach and pool toys needed. When we didn't dine out, we ate all our meals at the large outdoor dining table, right next to the very nice barbecue (grill). Susannah was a dream to deal with! I could go on and on ...... dreaming of the Algarve and this amazing villa! I can't imagine anyone being disapointed with this rental.

We stayed at this beautiful villa in June. The accomodation is large and very well equipped. Plenty of hot water for showers and baths. The bed linen was lovely and beds very comfy.The three main bedrooms are good. If you like your room dark you need to take black out blinds as the curtains in some of the bedrooms are inadequate. The beach is beautiful and plenty of water sports avaliable. We barbecued most nights but ate out several evenings. I would recommend A ConchE, The Fort, and for home cooking at a reasonable price Chaplins. The ice cream factory (shop) is a must. For a family holiday or a large group of friends you will not get a better location. The villa is not ultra modern but has a lovely holiday feel and you can relax within the villa. The gardens are truly beautiful and so lovely to sit in the evening looking at the stars. Susannah was brilliant with the pre holiday organisation. Everything went smoothly. We had two children who needed cots and high chairs. A little dissapointed we had to pay extra for the extra cot and high chair as it is marketed as a family villa. Previous villas we have stayed in have had all cots and high chairs provided. Susannah organised the extra ones and they were clean and of an excellent standard. We used Faro Airport Transfers and they were excellent and I would highly recommend them. We will return and that surely is the best recommendation you can get.

Susannah was a joy to work with and made us feel like family! My brother is staying here next year since we loved it so much. We will for sure return even though it is so far from the United States. The town is perfect and our older kids loved the local bar scene. It helped that the six per tournament was going on so very fun to experience with locals and other people on holiday! The home is beautiful and full of comfy furniture. Bathrooms very modern and kitchen was nice a big. Local restaurant were great as well! We can’t wait to return. We spent a wonderful week in Casa do Mar in April. We are frequent visitors to the area for the last 10 years and have stayed in many rentals and this is the best location yet. There is no other villa with it's own beach access, with a view of the town to the right and Luz rock to the left, with only the sea in between it was simply breathtaking. The house is massive. The pictures don't convey the sheer scale of the property, the gardens, beautifully manicured and extensive give plenty of spots to relax, sit and take in the view. We had a couple of rainy days and it was a pleasure sitting in the comfortable living room, reading a book looking out to sea or watching the large smart tv. The villa location is excellent, we had a car but hardly used it, everything is in walking distance and it is very quiet despite being close to town. We hope to return here very soon.

The villa was wonderful. Very large, rambling home with lots of areas for relaxing or socialising as a group. Gardens are beautiful. We were big fans of Luba - the new maid for this season. On arrival one wing of the house had no hot water - however a quick call to Hugo at the agency received prompt attention. Kids loved the swimming pool but the biggest hit was the direct access to the beach where we spent many a happy afternoon.Definitely recommend A’Fabrica for dinner but you’ll need to book.

We were a group of twelve, some couples and some singles. The house has so much space so there were areas to be together as well as be off on your own for quiet private time. The beach access was amazing and the pool is gorgeous. The grounds are very well maintained. Alice the housekeeper kept everything tidy for us. Thanks again for a great vacation
