The hot water, wifi and the fact that it was 100m away from the place I was working in. (being the reason I rented this apartment in this location - not that central and a bit strange btw)

The pillows were terrible, the bed was wobbly, the walls are paper thin and I could hear the neighbors fighting and shouting and loud music (mainly at night). During the morning I could hear vacuum cleaners. The stairs that go to the bed room are quite small and a bit dangerous, specially at night when you need to use the bathroom…(almost fell a few times with my socks on). To take my luggage to the room I had to use the 2nd floor door to the room floor (must have been a separate apartment and it was joined with the stairs) It wasn’t possible to carry my suitcase up the stairs inside. Since I booked 6 nights (for work) I used the kitchen more ofter and there was no extra garbage bags and no place to leave the trash! I asked the host and he said that I’d have to walk 100m to find a place to leave it. The hand soap was basically water and the bath towels were a bit small. But at least he left 2 complementary tea bags and a coffee capsule. :) It was a 424€ stay. Photos of the view from the balcony and the neighborhood.

The apartment had no air conditioning and especially at night you couldn't sleep. The room was very noisy and with a ceiling not suitable for tourist rooms (attic terrace type) To go from the room to the rest of the apartment, including the bathroom, you had to use a quite dangerous staircase, especially at night. Also there was no elevator and I had to go up three floors. Conclusion: Extremely bad for what it offered

Steep stairs and bad mattress.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful before and during our stay. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and cozy. It has all you need. The location was perfect for accessing the hospital. There are grocery stores and cafes just around the corner also.

Everything as expected. No bad surprises. The host was always available and understanding with our requests. Apartment in good condition and well equipped. Highly recommended.

One of the nights a neighbor was loud for awhile. No big deal though.

The apartment was very cozy and well equipped. Well connected to subway and easy to reach with a car. There are stores and restaurants around. Good WiFi and a lot of TV channels. It was very nice to have a balcony. Our host was very welcoming and gave us a quick overview of things to see and do in Porto.

The apartment is a duplex and it would be nice to have a functional bathroom in the upper floor, where the bedroom is located. The stairwell to access this floor is quite narrow and can be a little inconvenient if one needs to use the toilet in the middle of the night.
