Room was really tiny.

Great value for money in a beautiful mountain town. Good breakfast, super friendly and accommodating staff, enormous hotel room ('apartment') with plenty of storage space. I really appreciated the flexible mentality of the hotel staff (all from Czechia) who did their utmost to help think up good and affordable solutions to some of our questions. The hotel was at walking distance (up and down hilly paths) from many of Annaberg's facilities, including some great museums. We definitely want to come back again!

The WiFi was dodgy at best. The bed in our 'apartment' was a bit too small for 2 adults. Our room was only cleaned 1 time during a 5-night stay. The sheets in my son's room were ripped and he didn't have hot water one morning.

A nice and quiet hotel in a nice place with a very kind personnel. A very good breakfast and dinner (almost all restaurants on our way from Sinsheim have been closed - for me an excellent value for money.

Room is never renovated, I asked to change it due to kids hit their heads on low ceilings, they did not change. On walls were spider webs. Shower was broken, water was leaking, see pictures. Beds were with old mattress with bends. At breakfast there are only tables for two people, so if You are more than two You will sit separate. Butter was old, knifes were with old food spots, see pictures.

The hotel is a hidden gem and secret treasure being set in a beautiful and romantic location opposite the park. Under new management it was evident that attention and efforts have been put into the right places being 1. service 2. cleanliness as well as thick, clean new bath towels and a very powerful hot-water shower. The room was large and spacious and although not fancy, had just what we needed. The dinner was superb as was the breakfast very enjoyable with delicious breads, coffee and everything that one could expect. Outstanding value for money.

For a future stay I would ask for/choose a room not so close to the kitchen from where the sound could be heard late at night and the next morning. An extra pillow should be placed on each side of the bed. One pillow is not enough and it was strange that when we called the Front Office to ask for an extra pillow we were told that he did not have access to any.

It was a very good stay. We were very happy that the room was clean and quiet. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast was good. We had dinner at the restaurant and was very enjoyable.

Very good breakfast, good Internet connection, nothing to complain except…

I arrived late at the hotel and the room was very cold with windows open. Unfortunately evening opening the heating to the max that wasn't enough to get a decent temperature for the night… That happens quite often unfortunately in Germany when arriving late.

The location is very good, can walk to the center and in the park is all very quiet. The rooms are big and clean, nothing to complain about. Food and breakfast were all good.

Well, we are in the middle of Covid crisis and I was a bit disappointed to see that not all staff wore masks, although coughing pretty bad. Made me feel quite uncomfortable.

It's a beautiful hotel, in what seems like a historic building, with high ceilings that are lowered a bit. Very friendly staff, they were happy to welcome us even though we arrived almost at night. The breakfast was good, varied, the room very clean and comfortable.

We had to pay more than what was written on the website (around 30 euro more for two nights/two people) and I don't understand why. It was a good place to stay, so we didn't mind it very much, as it was truly last minute. The access is quite difficult, as the street that goes up the hill to reach the hotel is really narrow (the width of one car) and wobbly, the entrance into the parking is confusing (take the big entrance, not the small one) and I'm not sure whether you can walk up, there may be some stairs going up the side of the hill from the river valley, but we didn't explore that part (see the valley and the stairs in the second photo).
