Our stay went perfectly from booking, check-in though to check-out. Merin's communication was very timely and helpful. This is a great choice for visitors looking for an emersive experience in the neighborhood. Early morning street sweepers keep things tidy - be patient and be part of the community. This is an ideal location for walking and enjoying sites and dining.

Lovely apartment in the Old Town. Close to the market, beach, restaurants and bars. Everything is within a few minutes walk. Excellent host who communicated promptly. We were allowed to check in early and leave later once we had contacted Miren. We would stay there again.

We really liked the location of Muriel’s apartment. We took advantage of the balcony each day of our stay. Bars/Restaurants on our doorstep literally and a few more steps to pasticeries and small food markets. Muriel answered our queries promptly.

This apartment is in a fantastic location being in a small square in the old town. Perfect for walking to La Concha beach or crossing the bridge to visit the surf beach. There are 2 lively bars in the square and we particularly enjoyed Polka for a drink on they way out - try their house Vermouth, or food - great squid. The apartment was laid out well with a nice balcony to sit and watch the world go by. It had everything we needed for a great stay and I would definitely try and book again if we came back. Miren sent us great updates throughout and helped us have a fantastic time. 10 out of 10.

This is one of the very best places to stay in San Sebastián. Location is perfect to anywhere you want to go. Chatter in the plaza below is wonderful! Miren has been an amazing host! We’re sorry to leave. A must try are the two restaurants just two doors down in either direction! One is became our favorite bar/pintxos and the other has the very best steak we have ever had! It’s shared as it is well over 20 oz and served with steak potatoes and salad. Everything is reasonably priced! I hope we get to come back some day!

Miren was indeed a great host. She attended to our requests promptly and was very attentive and enthusiastic. The apartment was centrally located yet still very quiet. It provided a comfortable retreat after each day’s sightseeing. The balcony was very pleasant with its beautiful magnolia trees. We cooked our evening meals in and enjoyed the apartment’s facilities. The apartment was spacious and bright. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely little apartment walking distance to the town of San Sebastian. Our hostess lives in San Sebastián and met us at the apartment with a brief run down on the where and how of the unit. She supplied maps, directions and sent us recommendations with directions on dining spots and those “we should not miss”. Her VRBO description was perfect and we would recommend this host and property to all those lucky enough to visit! Thank you Mirem for making our visit so special.

So, the location can’t be beat, enough said. This was a pleasant little apartment with everything you could ever want. All amenities as described. All appliances that we used were working well. We didn’t cook as we were in a food centre. There was an underground market just steps away if you needed it and a little corner shop even closer. Tons of little kitschy shops nearby. San Sebastián is not only a great food destination, but is also a great walking city. We loved it so much and the icing on the cake was our lovely apartment. Just don’t book it on the days that we plan to return.

There could not have been a more perfect apartment for our stay. Miren was the most amazing host. She was very communicative and helpful, she thought of every comfort in our home away from home. The apartment was so bright, airy, perched above a vibrant plaza that always had a hum of the community that is lively and exuberant. You are right in the thick of things, but the apartment has very good soundproof doors that allow for a great nights sleep. Very peaceful. This place made our time in San Sebastian a dream!

Miren's apartment is terrific. Clean, well appointed and in a great location. It is at the edge of the Old Town and close to the beach and the newer part of the city. Pintxos bars everywhere. Miren was very helpful and prompt to respond. Highly recommend.

Quaint apartment in the heart of Old San Sébastien. Well appointed on the first floor and very well located. We loved our 2 week stay in this beautiful city.

My hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. The apartment is on an historic and one of the main plazas in El Parte Vieja of San Sebastian with a charming balcony. Everything is close - shops, restaurants, the public market and the plaza is a center for community activity. I highly recommend this as a place for an individual or a couple. Can't be complimentary enough.

My wife and I couldn't ask for a better location within the city. Old Town is great and we were right in the middle of everything. The apartment was great. It had everything we wanted/needed. Rooms were cozy and the veranda overlooking the square was great. We'd recommend this to any couple looking for a great place to stay in San Sebastian.

Superb location for our 4-night vacation stay in San Sebastian. Close to everything. We checked in on a dark rainy night and ran into a bit of a problem finding the key. Downstairs is a tour company from which we rented electric bikes for a great day! Would stay here again; would recommend the apartment to friends and family visiting SS.

The apartment is in a perfect location to walking all over old town and beyond. There are several markets nearby including a regular farmers market and underground grocery store. The apartment had basics for cooking and prepping easy meals. Bed very comfortable.

Well appointed apartment, equipped with everything you need. Miren was an excellent, proactive, communicator - check in was a breeze. We also had an issue with a delivery and she went above and beyond to assist us with the delivery company. She's the very best! We stayed during an unexpectedly hot few days, and with no A/C in the unit heat management was our only issue. The apartment was the perfect home base for our SB vacation - close to the beach, the market, & bars and restaurants everywhere!

Outstanding location and apartment…highly recommend!

We stayed in this apartment in San Sebastian for three nights in April 2022. The checkin process was a little unusual - we had to get the key to the outside door from a lockbox in the street and then get a second key from a lockbox in the building - but it all went smoothly. This first floor apartment (2nd floor to Americans) was clean, modern and exactly as described. We had everything we needed - including the little extras like salt and pepper that I like to find in an apartment. The location could not have been better - just on the edge of the historic district, but a bit quieter than the core tapas area that we liked to call the "vortex of fun." This is a wonderful and beautiful city and this apartment was exactly what we wanted.

The location is amazing for this lovely apartment. We walked everywhere and the best tapas bars and coffee bars were rite out our door. In addition, next door is a great beauty salon if you need to get your hair done. Ask for Anna Thank you Miren 😘

This place was EXACTLY as I imagined through the photos and having been to San Sebastián in the past- I knew what to expect from the neighborhood (a little busy- but the balcony doors are quite noise-proof) Miren’s place was absolutely perfect- I wanted a clean place in/near Old Town that had a kitchen, where I could cook after shopping in the uber-fresh underground market which is steps away; a balcony, where I can sit, relax, breathe in and be a part of San Sebastián when I’m not down there exploring the city by foot; a comfortable bed with ample bedding and towels; a washing machine that we took great advantage of; a decently stocked kitchen for me to make New Years dinner; a lot of closet and drawer space; and my OCD husband was very happy to see an array of cleaning supplies for him to choose from. I can not say enough about this apartment and the hospitality of Miren. While we did not meet, she was definitely attainable via message and responded immediately for any requests or questions I had. When I return....this is THE ONLY PLACE we will be staying...unless we buy a place of our own (a girl can dream)! Thank you for opening your apartment to us for the 2020 year~ it truly was a magical vacation for us.

We had a wonderful stay with Miren and Carlos. They are very communicative ahead of time and easy to work with on check-in. Carlos met us at the apartment and spent 20 minutes giving us his recommendations on a map and answering questions. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. We did laundry and there was detergent there and a drying rack. The decor is modern and comfortable with plenty of space. Because it is not on a street, it is quiet as well. The location can't be beat. You're in the middle of Old Town, easy walking to so many good pintxos bars. It's also easy to get to the beach and to hike up the mountain. The market is also close and we got supplies for picnic lunches. San Sebastian was our favorite city in Spain and it was due to how much of it we could experience, with the location and great recommendations, by starting with Miren and Carlos. If we ever go back we will stay here.
